She mentioned the title when I was asking for books that you wish more people would read. All she did was comment with the title and author. But for whatever reason the title No Tomorrow stood out to me. I had this feeling, that it would be an angsty read and I was not disappointed at all.
Within 9% I knew that I was going to be in for one angst fest of a ride. The storyline intrigued me specifically the fact that they were two people who society would say should probably not be together. I kept finding myself thinking I'm going to love this but I'm waiting for the shit to hit the fucking fan, the bottom to drop out from under me. And it did, not once, not twice but over and over.
The first time in happened in the book was sudden and was done with what I thought was perfect timing. Like you know when things are going fan fucking tastic. I mean it's all smiles and the proverbial birds are chirping and shit. You skip when you walk type thing. And within seconds you get this "something wrong feeling" and then OMG, WTF did .... just ..... no .... he didn't .... Oh my gawd .... fuck .....
Oh this book had me invested. And I thought to myself man oh man what would I do. How would I feel.
It's a book about how strong love is. How much can it endure. Do love actually conquer all. It was a roller coaster of emotions. And I loved all of it.
The main theme of this book is about an important topic that I feel needs to be addressed more often. I won't tell you what that topic is because I think it gives away a critical spoiler but I will say this. The topic itself is near and dear to my heart. It's something that I think more people should talk about openly. I'm glad that this author chose to write about it.
This is a book that will stick with me and one that I would absolute recommend with no hesitation.

It's not something I gravitate to ever and it's not for any specific reason, I just find myself wanting to read other types of books.
Now this particular book came to my attention a few ways. One I saw a few people talking about it when it first released. So I was aware of it. But the reason that it landed on my kindle is because I had one person in particular message me about it, quite insistent that I read this book.
Now if you know me, I'm a very spontaneous reader. I will more often chose to read a book that is out of my "wheel house" or read an author I've never read before because the cover or title caught my eye. In this instance it was that person who has never before told me to read anything but was adamant that I read this that sealed the deal.
So I grabbed it without hesitation. No I didn't read the blurb. I just one clicked. Now it sat on my kindle for almost a week before I decided to dive in. I had no expectation's going into this and my only knowledge of this book was that it was a historical romance that featured pirates. And according to the person who recommended this to me it was filthy and delicious.
So in I went and within the first few chapters I found myself wanting to see how the heroine's life would turnout. What path would she chose? Would she even have a choice? Would she survive it either way?
And so Pam Godwin, a new to me author, took me on this whirlwind adventure. It was indeed filthy and delicious. It had me enraptured and captivated. There were so many things about this story that I absolutely loved.
The heroine was fierce, oh she was fierce and it made me think if someone like her actually would have existed during that timeframe. I loved her fight for survival. She never gave up, she held her own. She commanded and in the end I desperately wanted to be here. Even through all the shit she went through I wanted to trade places with her if that was the kind of ending I would receive.
There was never a dull moment in this book. From start to finish I soaked it all in. The anti-heroes, oh my lawd !!!!!!!!!!!!! Deadly and absolutely delectable. That is how I would describe them.
Oh I'm squirming thinking about this book. In a very good way and all I can think is I want to relive it again and again. Just to make sure I didn't miss anything. This story has actually made my imagination run wild with possibilities. You'll understand my meaning when you read it.
And who knew, that a book that I would have probably never picked up is going to be sitting in my top reads list of 2020. Right now it's at the very top in fact. This is going on my read or die list. You just never know what could happen when you try something you wouldn't have before. That's one of the lessons, I am definitely taking from this read.
A book has the power to blow you away when you least expect it.
This book is so much more than five stars for me. A MUST READ and what I will say to those that are reading this review and decided to take the plunge and read this fantastic story is
From beginning to end, Forbidden Fate will wreak havoc on your emotions.

OMFG, I'm DEAD !! Completely DEAD !!!! MCG killed me with this one. From page to page this story hit me right in the heart and had me shouting so many expletives I wanted to wash my own mouth out with soap.
I can't even begin to tell you what I felt reading this. Never have I read a book where I literally at one point or another wanted to kill every single character. This book doesn't have a peak because it's literally peaking the entire damn time.
This story is heart stopping and has to be the angstiest book I've read so far this year. Easily a top read for me.
Grayson and Story !!!! Their love is so hard, it's just so hard guys and I hurt for them. I screamed for them and I screamed at them as they tried to navigate all the SHIT they have to deal with. Some of it self inflicted some of it not. They both have everything stacked against them with no clear ending in site it seemed.
I won't say much more than this. What I will say is that MCG did not hold back, she threw so many punches with this story. She took risks and I absolutely applaud her for that. Forbidden Fate is absolutely gut wrenching and by gawd I lived for every single moment of it.
An absolute MUST READ.
Honestly, do yourself a huge favour and pick up this series if you haven't already.

No excuses and yes I'm kicking myself for not reading these sooner. Rectifying that as I type out this review.
Lick was one of those books that sucked me in. I knew immediately that this would be a second chance romance and the level of Angst in this one hit me and stuck with me. I live for books for some reason that have couples that seem to have some serious, shall we say breakup moments.
The accidental vegas wedding seems somewhat cliche but I loved the circumstances surrounding it in this book. David and Evelyn have an unconventional start to say the least, and it almost seems as if things are over before they even start with her not even remembering what happened.
What follows is these two having to be in close quarters together and well you know what they say one thing leads to another. This book has a bit of insta love which I'm not a huge fan of but Kylie Scott makes it work well and I'm a believer with the two MC's in this one.
As I'm reading I find myself shipping David and Evelyn hard. I loved them together, and there's always that pivotal moment where time seems to stop for a moment. Your heart drops and your chest grows tight. I live for those moments in a book and I got that moment in this one big time. In fact that last 30% of this book I don't think my heart stopped pounding.
This was an amazing Rock Star second chance romance, that had me immediately diving in to the next one. I anticipate that I'll be finished this series in the next 24 hours. These are going on my fav reads list for sure. ...more

The suspense, the drama, the craziness of everything that happens in this book. This is a do not put down type of read. I was consumed. I mean this has got to be one of the most anticipated reads in romancelandia right now and Belle Aurora doesn't disappoint.
We've all been waiting for Twitch to come back and I'll be honest when I say it's almost like he left me and not just Lexi. I don't want to go into details with this book whatsoever because you all deserve to experience it, in all it's Raw glory but man oh man this is gonna give you the feels.
Each moment in this pivotal and gripping. I could almost hear my heart pounding leading up to that moment that I know everyone has been waiting for. I will call it the reunion and shit it's emotional.
If you have not read this series, then go, go right now. It's so worth it.
Hands down one of the most emotional and angstiest (not sure if that's even a word) books I've ever read.
Heartbreak Warfare is adequately titled. ThiHands down one of the most emotional and angstiest (not sure if that's even a word) books I've ever read.
Heartbreak Warfare is adequately titled. This book is the very definition of Heartbreak Warfare. It will literally make you feel like your insides are being torn out. I feel so attacked right now.
From the get go I could tell that this book would pull at my emotions. Just at page three I could already feel the tears at bay. But I don't think I was fully prepared, in fact I wasn't prepared at all for the onslaught of emotional grenades that were thrown at me in this story.
If you've read the blurb you will have an inclination that this book deals with a few sensitive subjects. War and the effects of war. My heart, my heart is still in pieces and I'm still trying to come to terms with everything that happened in this book.
This read was raw, and absolutely gut wrenching and at times I could feel myself shaking as I read this. But I love books that make me feel and man oh man did I feel EVERYTHING. Every touch, every tear, every scream, EVERYTHING. The heartbreak, the worry, the anger, the despair and it's been awhile since a book has utterly CONSUMED me.
Scottie, Briggs, Gavin and Noah they CONSUMED ME. They gutted me. This is one of those books where I didn't know how I wanted it to end. At times I wanted one way, and at other times I wanted it a different way. I went back and forth. I'm still going back and forth now typing this up.
I could go on and on and potentially write a short story about what this book did and I will probably tell everyone I come in contact with to read this story.
I'm not saying you should read this book. I'm YELLING THAT YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY READ THIS BOOK !!!

Perversion by T.M. Frazier will have your adrenaline pumping. Tristan aka Grim and Emma Jean aka Tricks will have you sucked right into their world. Once I picked this book up I couldn't put it down. It's exhilarating and the storyline grabs a hold of you. Both of them first meeting at an early age, and one that sticks with them throughout the years until they met again. That first encounter is what hooked me and it was almost as if I could feel the chemistry myself between these two. Even though they were both young it was that feeling of fate almost. Not so much a romance at that time but that the two of them were meant to be. It's been awhile since I've read a book where I've felt the connection between to main characters so strongly.
I really don't want to say too much more about this book, other then the fact that it's an amazing start to a brand new series. It's suspenseful, full of intense moments with characters that you will love and some characters that you will hate. I'm dying for the next ones already and I can say that this book instantly become a fav read for this year.

This book WAS HEAVYOK OK OK OK OK so it's been about 24 hours since I finished Pretty Venom by Ella Fields and I've now had time to absorb this book. This book WAS HEAVY.
And let me tell you it starts off with a love/hate and I LIVE for the LOVE/HATE. And that LOVE well that love was amazing. But it was young LOVE.
What happened next.......
Let's just say I DID NOT READ THE BLURB. I usually never do. LIKE NEVER. And I think by me not reading the blurb or know anything about the book the IMPACT was LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN.
The Pain and the HURT was like being PUSHED into the water in Antarctica. Just imagine that feeling. 100000000 knives stabbing you. Cause OMG what happens in this book was DEVASTATING, AND THE HURT, THE HURT I felt that SHIT. It crushed me DEEP.
But here's the thing with this one, the anti hero was not who I expected it to be. And if anything I think that hurt TWICE as bad. And I thought HOW THE HELL. HOW IN THE FUCKING HELL am I GOING TO BE ABLE TO FORGIVE. Like I was the one that had to forgive right. But shit the AFTERMATH was just as BAD and I LITERALLY wanted to SCREAM BLOODY MURDER.
FACCCKKKK ELLA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I honestly didn't know if I was going to make it out of this and be OK. Thankfully I was but the journey to get there was paved with rocks, and cracks and glass. Nothing worth having is easy. That's the saying right???
"You're my greatest foe because you're my greatest love."
This is one of my fav reads of the year. I love the MESSY, the LOVE STORIES that have battle scars. To me those are my favs because they show you that what you've been through together and that you can come out of those battles stronger for it. ...more

Sawyer, out of all of the guys Sawyer is the playful type. He's funny and flirty and irresistible. Grace oh my heart ached for Grace she's been through hell. These two for me were just perfect for one another. I loved their story.
Sawyer's persistence stole my heart. I loved that he didn't give up on Grace and he was determined to break down her walls. The moments between these two at the beginning of their relationship seriously had me giddy.
And can we talk about his protectiveness as well. HOT DAYUMMMM, Sawyer is definitely has that hero title all locked up for me.
Again this book has all the elements I love in a book. FEELS, from giddiness, swooning, heart stopping FEELS. I loved it.

Hooked I'm freaking hooked on these books. Jaxson is damaged, rough around the edges and holy fackkk he is hot as hell in this. Jaxson and Julia to me were just perfect. Their story is sweet, endearing but also angsty.
I don't know how many times I shouted at Jaxson to get his shit together in this book even though I totally understood his reason even if I didn't agree with him.
And let's talk about him for a bit because HOLY ALPHA !!!! I am a sucker for ALPHA hero's and Jaxson fits the bill perfectly. His strong protective personality is off the charts hot.
This book is perfect if you ask me. ALL The feels and I couldn't stop reading it. ...more

This book had me reeling and had my jaw dropping at 13%. I'm not kidding this book has tore me apart at 13% and I thought to myself OH GOOD GAWD what am I in store for.
And let me tell you it's one of those stories that will have you falling in love from the beginning with the idea of the perfect fairytale only to rip you apart and then take you on a journey of WTF moments. To the point where you are cursing and screaming and ready to pull your hair out because of everything happening. And I honestly can't see how anyone is not going to feel something after reading this book.
The storyline is gripping, and with every turn of the page I gobbled it up.
This is a phenomenal debut !!!!! If you love romances that will have you all up in knots and your heart racing then this is definitely a MUST READ. ...more

Victoria Ashley hits me in ALL THE FUCKING FEELS with Royal Savage.
This storyline was simply put AMAZING. Right from the get go I'm hooked and wanting to know EVERYTHING about ROYAL. He's broody and definitely has some baggage but I am craving him. Royal is domineering in such a sexy way while at the same time a bit scary and intimidating yet you know that there's a reasoning behind that. When you find out what that reasoning is you fall even more in love with this broken man.
When he meets Avalon you can see that there is a spark and HOT DAMN does Victoria Ashley know how to write some scenes that would make you blush. I mean she takes PDA to a whole other level and it got me hot and bothered.
So I'm pretty much head over heels with this book 100% by the half way point and I'm waiting for the shoe to drop because what a good romance without some BS going down. I live for the Angsty moments, those moments where your heart drops. This book has more then one, BUT there is ONE part in particular that absolutely FLOORS ME. I didn't see it coming and as I got the beginning of said scene and could see where it was going I sat in my chair and literally started talking to myself saying OH MY GAWDDDDD, NOOOOOOOOOOO EFFING WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT IN THE FUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shock, complete and utter shock and disbelief those are the words I would use to describe this particular PLOT TWIST shall we call it and I literally jumped. I'm not kidding I was in shock like I had just fell through the ice into a lake. WOAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had to stop and compose myself before I continued on with this book, not because it was bad quite the opposite it was that moment of OMFG. I love it when books have that moment. So yeah after a bit of a self imposed time out I picked up the book and continued to devour it. I'm telling you this entire book is amazing but the last I would 80% of this book is that drop, you know what I mean you've reached the top of the rollercoaster and now its the adrenaline drop. The part that while it has your heart pounding so hard you are engrossed in the thrill of it all. Yes this book ends beautifully and ohhh if I wasn't clutching my chest and trying to keep some of those happy tears at bay.
Why I took so long to read this book I will probably never forgive myself for. The important thing is that I've read and I absolutely loved it. Royal Savage is a book that got my blood pumping, my heart racing and my mind reeling. ...more

EL Pecador was a complete roller coaster of a book. From beginning to head this story is nothing but intense, emotional and full of drama and suspense.
Now if you have not read book 1, El Santo then stop reading this right now and go read El Santo. Otherwise please continue while I sing M Robinson’s praises for a book that will have you throwing F bombs basically the entire way through.
Damien and Amira their story is just all too much. It’s powerful and draining and emotional and full of love, lust, anger and every other emotion you can think of.
These two are fire together. They hate and love with such an intensity that you find yourself completely engrossed. And as I said this book is full of land mines seemingly going off every two seconds. I couldn’t cope with it all and I couldn’t stop reading.
With “truths bombs” that will have you absolutely shook. M Robinson proves exactly why she is called the Queen of Angst. And I will say this at just over halfway through this book something happens that has me absolutely losing my mind. And the way it’s written is so clever and perfect that it isn’t until a bit later on you realize exactly what she did and the first thought that popped in my head was oh wow well played Monica well played. Brilliant just Fucking brilliant.
This book doesn’t stop giving even at the very end when you think oh my gawd no way wow that’s it that the real kicker WRONG !!!!!!! It keeps going and dishes out more bombs that will leave you saying oh my Fucking god !!!!!! WTF
This duet was amazing and an absolute must read. EL Santo left me hooked and and entranced EL Pecador left me speechless. ...more

I was engaged, engrossed, enchanted and utterly entertained by this story. I can see the gloves coming off with the guys in this story, everyone is going to be claiming them. Maddoc, Captain and Royce are a force, each with their own personalities yet these three together are one and it's intimidating, powerful and commendable. Not one really overshadows the other, yet they all stand out if that makes sense.
And then there's Rae, a baddass bitch that has this vulnerability that makes you want to befriend her. Makes you want to cheer for her and makes you want to ensure that she knows what love is.
This book is about bonds, trust and loyalty. It's a slow burn with that teenage angst that I live for. When this goes live, grab it you aren't going to want to miss meeting the Boys of Brayshaw. ...more
