ugh the audacity. I always have a good time with a Saxon James book but this blew me out of the water. It was such a pleasure to watch Orson and Ford fugh the audacity. I always have a good time with a Saxon James book but this blew me out of the water. It was such a pleasure to watch Orson and Ford fall in love. This was a lesson in how to deliver sweetness and heat with emotion and depth. And getting the reader to crave the next installment in the series, without taking anything away from the story itself. Cannot wait for what's ahead.
It'll take every ounce of self-control in my body not to drop every book in TBR for this end-of-year stretch and just reread this endlessly....more

First read: 2.5? This one tripped me up at first, but I eventually got on board. It was way shorter than I expected, so I'm not surprised I didn't get super invested with there being no real time to spend with the characters.
Non-dual POVs can sometimes contribute to my inability to fully immerse myself in a book. It always feels one sided to me - feeling like I have all the insight into only one side of the story.
The Outtake at the end of the book with Cooper's perspective was a nice touch to make up for it....more
