Keri did an amazing job with her research on Louisiana and our culture I actually thought she lived here it was on point! Celeste is a strong character and I loved her. She has been through so much in her life you just want everything to work out for her. Thierry is mysterious, dangerous and sexy. The chemistry between these characters is combustible but they deny their attraction to each other. This book was like a fine wine I savored it and didn't want it to end. There were so many things going on that you don't see coming. This was my first book by this author and I can't wait to delve into her backlist. If you enjoy a dark, gritty and suspenseful read this book is definitely for you!...more
