It started off kind of slow but I'm finding that most fantasy books take time to set up. Willow and Caz were from different worlds but they were pulled together by this rare thing called a cold tether. I was fascinated by this new world Willow was brought to it was dangerous, dark and you really didn't know who to trust. Caz was an enigma. He was broody and so standoffish it made you wonder what happened to him in his life to make him this way. Willow was a great character going but lonely in her mundane life. This was slow burn at it's finest. I kept turning the pages hoping these characters would let down their walls and surrender to their bond. I really enjoyed all of the side characters especially Juniper. I'm so invested in these characters and this story that I don't know if I can wait until November to see what happens next after that cliffy!

I knew that Reign and Echo were going to be amazing and I wasn't disappointed! I loved how they met and they're incredible dynamic. Reign was the epitome of bad boy but he has so much more to him when you peel back those layers. He loves hard and fiercely. Echo was the sweetest and I appreciated that she saw the best in Reign beyond the facade he put on for everyone. This book was filled with the teenage angst I've come to expect from this author but I was here for it! I rooted for these characters and held my breath waiting for that moment when they'd realize how they truly felt about each other. A great end to the series and I'm ready for the next one!
"I'm insane for you. I'm obsessed with you. You're the life in my veins and you're the thing I crave more than air. I'm sick for you Echo."
"Who the fuck knew there were so many shades of pink. Who the fuck knew that pink, of all colors, would become my favorite. It would become the color with which I'd see the world. The color that I'd see in my dreams. It would become the color of every thought I had, every breath I took, every beat of my heart."...more
