Harlan “Hugger” McCain is Chaos through and through. He will do anything for his brothers, so when a job comes up in Phoenix, he's willing to go so those with families won't have to. What Hugger didn't expect was to find a woman who would steal his heart.
Diana Armitage has convinced a young woman who suffered a brutal assault to come and stay with her so she can protect her while she healed; the only thing is this isn't something Diana has experience doing. Diana suffered her own attack years earlier, and while vastly different, there is one common denominator: her father, the lawyer.

Yep, that is exactly what we have here. Alta Hensley gives Dark Romance Readers a Stalker Romance to whet your holiday appetite. After reading two Contemporary Holiday Romances and diving into this one, I created all kinds of scenarios in my mind about what Alta could have in store for us. I was ready for whatever ride she took us on.
Jack and Chloe are pretty similar in character as they both put on a sweet persona on the outside, but they have some dark and kinky within them. I loved this about them because we all know people are not like cookie cutters; we are all different, and who we portray to the people we meet may not reflect our authentic selves either. People are complex, and both Jack and Chloe showed just how complex people can be. Jack, the firefighter, is caring and helps wherever he can. He also has a dark side that no one sees until he lets Chloe know that side of him. Chloe is a wholesome jewelry influencer who is as sweet as apple pie and needs to keep that image for her following, so if anyone ever found out that she is also a Camgirl named DarkasChlo, she would be ruined. See what I mean: no cookie cutters here.

Now in Surrender to You we find out what really happened between Carlie and Tomas.
Carlie and Tomas have a friends with benefits whenever we're in the same town arrangement, this struck me as odd since it was clear that they both wanted more but just to afraid to go after it. Carlie is in town looking for her birth parents and while there she takes a position at the hotel Tomas owns. Being a sexual submissive and a personal concierge Carlie has seen some wild things over the years but I would think that the 22nd floor of Tomas' hotel was a new concept even for her. It really should be named the "Kink Floor" instead of the 22nd floor, everyone on that floor got their kink on. Anyway, with Tomas and Carlie working in the same place everyday they were bound to become more involved and they did.
I have to say that I loved the chemistry between Carlie and Tomas. They worked well together...even when Carlie was pushing him away. I am really enjoying this series and I look forward to the next book, I have a feeling it will be about Penny but the story I am most looking forward to is Griffin's....he's a mystery to me at the moment and I want to know more!

Samantha's world was rocked when Lane, her fiancé, was shot and killed two years ago, I am still finding it hard to believe that he was killed off but anyway - I guess if he wasn't Sam wouldn't have found the absolute perfect guy for her.
Samantha has relocated to the Outer Banks, North Carolina where she is hoping to regroup and maybe have a mindless fling with Mr. Sex on a sick that she watches run past her on the beach twice a day for a week. Logan is a hockey player that is home recovering from an injury, and while he is running on the beach doing his rehab he sees an Angel. Can Samantha and Logan have a mindless fling without getting tangled up with unwanted emotions? What if they go into it with no knowledge of the other person, no personal information exchanged, no last names, nothing about their true identity being revealed? Would that make a difference?
The chemistry between Logan and Samantha was great, I LOVED that they started innocently flirting while on the beach, it was a great lead in to the obvious attraction they had for one another. This book did have a bunch of twists and turns, you never knew if things were going to work out for them or not...seriously you have a short fling with someone that you know nothing about and then when you are back in the real world you have to believe that its over no matter how much you wish you were because you DIDN'T EVEN GET THEIR LAST NAME! LOL
Once again I will say that I am sorry to see this sexy, suspenseful, laugh out loud, series come to an end.

This is the first book by Erin M. Leaf, a new to me author, and I really enjoyed. SO much in fact that I went right into the second, third, and forth This is the first book by Erin M. Leaf, a new to me author, and I really enjoyed. SO much in fact that I went right into the second, third, and forth books of the series. This is also the first M-PREG book that I have read, and WOW I think I found a new favorite paranormal sub-genre.
Bad Oak is a famous band and all four members are family, two sets of brothers that are cousins, little did they know that they had werewolf blood running through their veins. When Ryan, the lead singer, meets Bardulf for the first time things begin to change for him. Not only do they have a deep connection and amazing chemistry but this connection they have makes Ryan change physically as well. To say that the first time Ryan shifted was a shock for him would be an understatement.
Can Ryan come to grips with this new side of him and embrace the Alpha that he is? Can Bardulf, and Ryan make a relationship work between two alphas, fated mates or not? Well you'll just have to grab your own copy of Rock Star Baby and find out.
Thank you Angela for the loan!

If this sort of thing disturbs you, please don't read it. I'm not trying to glamorize this subject and I tired my best to handle it with sensitivity and care. Thanks to the stories written by Elizabeth Smart, Jaycee Dugard, and Michelle Knight, I received insight into what it's like to be a kidnap victim and survive. These women are so incredibly brave for sharing their stories - they are true heroes in my eyes" it definitely gave me pause, did I really want to go on and read this knowing what was going to happen, did I push past my Hard Limit and pray that it wasn't a bad call. I could always stop reading if it became to much to handle and I would I know that - push only as far as I am comfortable with and then take a break, step away and read something light and fluffy if needed. But knowing the way Monica Murphy writes I had a gut feeling that it wouldn't become a book that would fall into my DNF Shelf...and thankfully I was right. This was a hard story to tell but with the amount of compassion that clearly shows in every page Monica Murphy did a wonderful job with it.
Will never knew the horrors that his father inflicted on his young female victims until that one fateful day when he found Katie chained up in the storage shed, she had been physically and sexually abused at the hands of his father and being a kid himself he was horrified and scared at what he had just witnessed. In my opinion Will suffered great abuse from his father himself, it may not have been visible for all to see but there is no way anyone could argue that he hadn't been mentally and emotionally abused for years before he found Katie and then seeing her just made everything come to a head. Katie was only 12 years old, a few weeks shy of her 13th birthday when she was kidnapped, just a child with her whole life ahead of her. She didn't know about the monsters that lurk around in the shadows, she was an innocent little girl and it was all taken away in the blink of an eye.
This book did take me a bit longer to read then books normally do but there were a few times that I had to stop reading because I couldn't see past the tears in my eyes. But I am so glad that I had decided to go ahead with it because Monica Murphy did a wonderful job with this extremely delicate subject. The way she went from "Then" to "Now" (with an eight year span in between) helped mold the story and had me hoping for the best outcome for both Will and Katie (then) and Ethan and Katherine (now).
We were left with a cliffhanger and I am off to read the next book Never Let You Go to see what happens next. I hope for the best but I am prepared for some more rough/tough patches. Katie will get he HEA she deserves....She has to!

One grand prize winners will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card and the runner-up prize will be a copy of the box set including all four books in the series and an exclusive extended epilogue.
These are the heroes of Second Circle Tattoos. Trent, Cujo, Dred, Reid. And now all four books are together for the first time in a fabulous, low priced eBook box set featuring an exclusive epilogue. Why pick one book boyfriend when you can have all four?
The Strongest Steel Harper Connelly never expected to find herself outside of a tattoo parlor at one in the morning. The scars that decorate her back are just one more reminder of things she'd rather forget, the past she wants to leave far behind her, but before she can move on, she needs him. Trent Andrews has his own reasons for specializing in inking over scars. And there's no way in hell he's going to turn Harper away. Being with Harper is like going ten rounds in the ring—exhilarating, powerful, and dangerous. She stirs feelings in him he thought were long gone... if he can only get past her carefully constructed defenses.
The Fractured Heart Tattoo artist Brody "Cujo" Matthews knows how to keep things simple. In life and in love. That all changes when he meets Drea Caron, the definition of high maintenance and sizzling curves. And the one woman he doesn’t want to walk away from. Andrea "Drea" Caron is broke and tired. After years of caring for her ailing mom, she's at the end of her rope trying to manage the piling medical bills, two jobs, and a life placed on hold. She certainly doesn’t need the added frustration of a sexy playboy tattoo artist messing up her carefully balanced life. Too bad the universe has other ideas.
The Purest Hook Rugged, hot, and rock hard, Dred Zander is exactly the type of man that normally sends Pixie running. Not dreaming about running her hands down his washboard abs...and lower. The lead singer and guitarist for the band Preload embodies trouble behind his quick smile and guarded eyes, and Pixie left trouble behind her years ago along with the name Sarah Jane Travers and the pathetic trailer her mom called home. But Dred has other ideas. Pixie's sweet hazel eyes, purple hair and kaleidoscopic tattoo of exotic flowers that swirl up her arm haunt his dreams, and he's ready to fight like hell to keep that feeling.
The Darkest Link When her car breaks down off the side of a lonely highway far from her sunny Miami home, tattoo artist Lia never expected her very own white knight to ride up on the back of a barely street-legal motorcycle...and she never expected to fall for her dark savior. A bruised heart Lia is not looking for forever, and the hot mechanic, with his sexy scruff and shaggy hair, is simply impossible to resist. He's the perfect candidate for a mind-blowingly-perfect, no-strings-attached one-night stand. But when their fling becomes something more and Reid surprises her at her tattoo studio, Second Circle Tattoos, he's in for a shock—and a fist to the face—when his past and present collide.
Exclusive excerpt: "So, I don't want you to get mad, Shortcake, but I have a surprise for you," Cujo said. Nervously, he ran his hand through his blond hair as the opulent elevator of the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas took him and his unsuspecting soon-to-be fiancée up to their room. He studied Drea's hazel eyes. Eyes that lit up when she smiled, that became red and blotchy when she cried, and went wide when she came apart in his arms like she had in bed that morning. Right now they looked at him suspiciously. "More of a surprise than this morning when you woke me and told me I had an hour to pack and get ready?" She grinned at him and flicked her long-layered hair over her shoulder. "A surprise I am very grateful for. It’s a nice break before I go back for my second year of school." Confidently, Drea stepped toward him, lifted up onto her toes, and brushed her lips against his in a kiss which had him second guessing the surprise waiting for them in their room. He should have ensured it would be empty so he could throw her down on the bed, claim one more state on his places-I-fucked-Drea map. But that was going to have to wait, because first he had to get down on one knee and ask the one question he'd been so certain she'd say yes to when he’d put all of the plans in place. Now he was less than ten minutes away from doing the deed, he wasn't feeling quite so confident. He loved her with every fucking cell in his body and was certain she felt the same way. So why was asking her to confirm that with a ring so nerve-wracking? He’d inked her name on his body. Hell, all the tattoos on his left arm were dedicated to her. So why should putting ink on a piece of paper, a marriage certificate, feel so much more important?

Jordan Steele’s life began when he was ten. When he was taken from his parents and a house that was never a home. When he met his brothers, the other lost and abandoned boys in his group home. When he learned what friendship and family and love looked like.
Now he’s made good, touring the world with the band he and his brothers formed in that crowded group home. No one but his found family really knows the man under the fame and fortune, the scars he hides behind the rockstar lifestyle. Until he sees her through the windows of the National Ballet, dancing, and suddenly the world doesn’t seem so dark.
Aleksandra Artemov ticks all the ballet boxes. Father a legendary Kirov dancer. Check. Prepping since birth for classical ballet. Check. Compulsive control over the food she eats. Check. Principal dancer at The National Ballet of Canada. Check. But what she craves is freedom.
She craves Jordan.
Everything about him should terrify her. His size, his tattoos, his edge. But he doesn’t. He stirs her very soul. Jordan has nothing but himself to offer her, and he's never been good enough for anyone. Can he figure out how to face his own demons before he loses his light for good?

Her debut, THE STRONGEST STEEL, has already become an Amazon best seller in romantic suspense, was a Best Debut Goodreads Author Finalist 2015, and Authors On The Air Global Radio Network Contemporary Romance Pick of 2015.
When Scarlett isn't writing, she spends her time reading, hoarding mason jars, and working out to off-set an epic sour candy habit. She likes hot men, cold beer, and expensive shoes.

I have been waiting for Finn's story since I read about his accident in The Harder He Falls and I have to say that it was well worth the wait....Finn I have been waiting for Finn's story since I read about his accident in The Harder He Falls and I have to say that it was well worth the wait....Finn and Tanner are perfect together!
Tanner has returned home after an eighteen month deployment to a barrage of emails and texts from Rig (a partner at KICK) letting him know that Finn and Chris have been in a serious accident that left Chris dead and Finn in a coma. (This happened several months ago and now Finn is out of his coma and on his long road to recovery) so Tanner heads directly to Finn's house to see with his own eyes how the man he has secretly loved for years is really doing. [image]
Chris, Finn, and Tanner were as tight as brothers forming a family of their own that was accepting of everything, from each of them being gay to the fact that Tanner was part Korean (and was constantly the butt of racist jokes by other Marines). They did everything together while they served, so now that one of them was gone and Finn was seriously injured Tanner knew that he had to convey his love for Finn once and for all. Believe me when I say that this was not an easy task for him, growing up with the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy firmly in place with his family that were deep in the Military he never spoke about his preferences, although Finn and Chris knew that he preferred men. [image]
This story was hard to read at times, I actually had to put it down and walk away for a little bit, it was heartbreaking one moment and heartwarming the next. I am really, really, really enjoying this series and I cannot wait for the next book! If you haven't read any of the series they can each be read as a standalone but to get the full impact of all the men I would suggest reading the entire series starting with book 1 The Harder He Falls.

I have been waiting for Finn's story since I read about his accident in The Harder He Falls and I have to say that it was well worth the wait....Finn and Tanner are perfect together!
This story was hard to read at times, I actually had to put it down and walk away for a little bit, it was heartbreaking one moment and heartwarming the next. I am really, really, really enjoying this series and I cannot wait for the next book! Tino had a loving family but they died and he was bounced around from family member to family member until his inheritance ran out and he was put into the foster care system. That is when Sergeant Joe and his wife Marlene met Tino and adopted him. If you have read Always for You: Jack then you know that Joe and Marlene have hearts of gold, and now that Joe has passed on the boys are all doing what they can to help Marlene. Tino has returned home after serving ten years in the Army and is trying to figure out what's next in his life, this is where Marlene gives him a gentle nudge in telling him that the community center is being renovated and they could use a contractor that knows his way around the work-site.
Natalie is overseeing the renovations at the community center, and although she is the head of the charity that is footing the bill for the renovations she is not afraid to get in there and get her hands dirty. Natalie is a little spitfire, she doesn't take crap from anyone especially the men that think she is nothing but arm candy, because of her wealth and social status they just want to be scene with her and that includes her ex-fiance. Boy, now his was a piece of work! there is a major scene where he is involved and it was great.
The chemistry between Tino and Natalie was great, they started off with insta-lust, but it quickly grew to where it was something neither of them could ignore. I have to say that Natalie's grandfather was AWESOME, I loved the relationship they had it was nice to see that the different generations treated each other with respect, kindness, and most of all love. This was a great addition to the series and I highly recommend it. I am really looking forward to reading Love, Always and Forever which is Mikhail's story, he is the last of the three boys adopted by Joe and Marlene to get his story, that being said I will be sad once this series is completed.

There were a few things that I didn't like about each of the characters and I guess that is one of the biggest reasons I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have.
Rex and Rebecca meet in the airport and when their flight gets cancelled they decided to make the most of it ;) Insta-lust at its finest. But the way Rebecca flip flopped with her feelings after they met up again was a major turn off for me. She is a strong independent woman that has a high ranking position in the hotel she works at, so it really confused me when she kept changing her mind about things, especially when it came to her feelings about Rex. Rex, he was an interesting character that kept a LOT of secrets but what bothered me most about him was that he said that he was into kinky sex and liked to dominate in the bedroom but whenever they hit the sheets it didn't feel like he really dominated her at all. :(

9/5/22 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Haunted Holiday by Taryn Quinn I loved this short story of Macy and John Gideon from Daddy in Disguise. Gideon plans a surprise trip to Salem MA for his wife that loves everything Halloween and Horror. This is a quick steamy read that can be read as a standalone but I can guarantee once you meet these Teri you’re going to want more of them.

I have to say that there was so much going on in this book that it did a great job of setting up future books in the series.
This books focus is on Kelcee and Dustin; Kelcee has just inherited the small town's bookstore after the owner has passed away and Dustin is recovering from an injury sustained in combat. I liked both characters but at times I didn't like the fact that they were hiding secrets from one another.
I look forward to reading more of the series and witnessing the special powers that are found in Wounded Warrior Falls and on Eagle Ridge Ranch.

When I think of Kelly Jamieson I immediately think of her hockey books which I am a huge fan of but now I will have to start thinking of her other series, especially this one. Each book in the San Amaro Singles series can be read as a standalone which is what I did, I jumped right into book two I am sure I will go back and read book one, With Strings Attached, but it was book two that grabbed my attention when I was look at the three of them. You ask why, well that's simple it was a menage with two men already in a committed relationship looking for a woman to share their love with and the woman wanted no part of a relationship so she thought a fun menage with no feelings was just her thing, I had to see how this would play out.
Jules was a hard character for me to connect with but that doesn't mean I didn't like her because I did, I just didn't understand her. She uses sex as a way of manipulation and never shows her feelings to anyone, if you ask me that has to lead to a very lonely life; but hey Jules seems to love it.
Mike and Carlos have been together for a few years and although they are in a committed relationship they feel a third would complete them, interesting since they haven't found the right person yet but then they move next door to Jules and they both know right away that she's the one...now all they have to do is convince her of that.
This was a HOT read with plenty of MF, MM, MFM, and MMF action. As I mentioned this was a good story even though I had a hard time connecting with some of the characters. Would I recommend this book, yes I would. Who would I recommend it to, well....anyone that enjoys menage/triad/poly relationships, also anyone that is curious as I was on how a committed couple would bring a third into the relationship in order to complete it. Happy Reading!!!
