In this book he spends a month on each social experiment, rather than the full year each he devoted to reading the encyclopedia and to living literally by the Bible. Good stuff in most chapters here, including his attempt at rational thinking and his month of servitude to his hapless wife Julie. But the best, funniest part here was his month of radical honesty, and I couldn't help wishing he'd done a full year figuring the ins and outs and cheats of that particular concept....more

The book, at times, devolves into a series of names impossible to keep straight and the the sometimes non-linear timeline can make things confusing. Are we still in 2003? This just mentioned 2005! That type of thing. But, overall, a great inside look at the power-mad Eisner who was a creative whiz at the beginning of his tenure there and the seemingly lost his ability to predict what consumers wanted to watch or buy....more
