Hayden is the newest hockey player in town and he’s a force to be reckoned with. Not only is he an adrenaline junkie, but he’s hot, handsome, flirtatious, and confident. I love the way he clashes at his very first meeting with Delaney, the pom pom whistle blowing heroine. Every meeting after (and there are plenty) is full of the electric zip and magnetic pop of a hatred bursting with attraction. They are such a dynamic couple and it was so much fun to experience their story through a series of accidental and coincidental run-ins, exploding with witty banter and humorous lines and situations.
I adored every moment of this sweet story.

Brenden and Holly were besties in high school and an accident forced them apart for years. But now that he’s back in town and they’re both in need of a fake date, they easily fall into a strong like once again.
Because this is short and sweet, the romance is on a very fast track and I could easily envision this developing into more with added detail, but it was the perfect snack-sized story for a busy season/day. The attraction is clear and the strong bond is still present, the characters likable, and all the holiday shenanigans were endearing.

Ginger is trying to earn a spot on a cooking show and the competition is tough. The cooking segments and scripts were a joy to read. I loved the quirky friend group, especially the hairless cat, Jinxy, but it was the surprise who stepped in to help who really won my heart–Jude, her ex.
I was impressed with how much this author was able to pack into this short holiday story and my only wish was for (of course) a little more romance, as anyone who reads this author knows how great her kissing scenes are. However, I was content with everything and it felt complete.
I’m wondering where I can possibly find pistachio cream…

I’ve had the busiest, craziest couple of weeks ever and I’ve been dying to just sit and read Christmas books, eat “I want you to see…Me. The real me.”
I’ve had the busiest, craziest couple of weeks ever and I’ve been dying to just sit and read Christmas books, eat Christmas candy, watch Christmas movies, and listen to Christmas music. This was the perfect book for the season–short, sweet, swoony, and a spin-off to the spy series.
Hammy is such a fantastic character and his first meet with Annette had me laughing so hard. Trying to be an elf, but accused of being a grinch, this story started off with a literal bang and the momentum kept going. It was fun to see a romance unfold between a middle aged couple. The literal hot cocoa cookies sounded so interesting, but it was the constant connection and Christmas magic that stole my heart, especially amid the secrets.
This one hit the spot!

For as much as I complain about certain seasons (namely winter because I hate being freezing cold all of the time...and maybe autumn because right now, I'm pretty tired of raking leaves), I LOVE having seasons. There are things that I love about each and every one and having a sweet story set in each season is truly magical.
The holidays come alive with Samantha and Rex's second chance romance. The effects of the Civil War don't leave this couple unscathed and I enjoyed how everything played out. Their friendly competitions put a smile on my face, as did their later interactions.
Tempest and Bram engage in a fierce rivalry with competing businesses. I love how feisty and dedicated each of them are, but especially Tempest, who really lives up to her name. The way they come to awareness over their behaviors is delightful.
Loralee and Wyatt have a charming deal--if they're both unattached, they'll meet up and see if it's possible to kindle a romance. What better way to spend a summer? These two characters are adorable and their story warmed my heart as fast as the summertime sun.
Phoebe and James live opposite lives in the same world. This autumn romance shows that it just might be possible for love to conquer all--even social statuses. The hopeful current of this concluding novella is the perfect finish to a great collection.
If you want little snippets to brighten your day and take you through a year of weather, holidays, and love, try this book out!

Can you imagine going to your small, local coffee shop and being serenaded with a song with every delectable drink? He would make work so much fun and cheer up even the grumpiest customer.
I love his first meet with Charlotte and the way they quickly fell into being both coworkers and friends, but it was her ultimate risk that really took the story to the next level. I went into this book knowing it was short and it hit the spot with its direct shot of music and love.
This is the perfect combo for those who need a little afternoon pick-me-up.

Book 2 in the SoCal Summer Kisses can stand alone and delivers a short and sweet story. Rocco and Katy were secret sweethearts until he left to join the military. Now years later, they are reunited and the spitfire Katy doesn’t make this reunion easy, but it is oh, so funny.
Katy grew up on the dirt side of town and uses frost to protect herself. Rocco is rough and tough, but the sweetest uncle, giving his twin niece and nephew ice cream for breakfast, and a fake dating situation puts them together to unwrap all the things.
This snack-sized summer sweet is perfect for a sweltering day and really packs some magnetic energy. This romance contains kisses only. Many thanks to the author for the review copy.

Meg is quite sensible and does the unexpected by going on a couples trip that she paid for…alone. I couldn’t stop squirming, snickering, and swooning throughout this perfectly paced romcom. Her immediate run-in with local, Kal, amped up her previously planned trip and turned it into an unforgettable experience, especially as “Sensible Meg” morphed into “Spontaneous Meg” and it was wonderful to watch her let go and live.
I love Hawaii and although I haven’t visited Lanai, I could picture the zipline, hula lessons, and beach time. This story is the vacay I didn’t know I needed and from the fantastic cast of characters, to the vivid setting, to the character growth, to the swoony chemistry, I was all in.

Canyon Cove is the the perfect coastal town to mend a broken heart, especially when she runs into a summer fling from her summer before college–Tyler. And it's a perfect length to devour in an afternoon at the beach or pool.
“There’s already a spark between me and Tyler, and a little bit of fuel would turn it into a raging inferno.”
This short and sweet second chance romcom had me swooning through a day at Disney and all the little moments of beach and banter. This author’s writing style speaks to me. I loved Tyler and Brooke, as well as the introduction to the friend group, and I’m even more excited for summer now.

I know an epic series is looming and I can’t wait to dive into more of this story set in the 1370s.
Miladen and Magdalena are such fantastic characters. Amidst tragedy and suffering, hope and second chances blossom, and their journey is inspiring. The dual points of view gave so much more depth to the book and allowed for the reader to connect with them.

Noelle has been feeling a bit grinchy since her grandmother died and her home needs some work done. So her friends get together and hire Liam, a handyman turned Elf, to meet her holiday needs. Everyone needs a group of friends like this and I loved each one of them, and especially their group chat. As for the main characters, Noelle is endearing and Liam is a handy hunk of elf.
The misconceptions about each other were so funny–Homer Simpson? Little old granny? In true Savannah Scott fashion, they were quickly cast aside and the attraction and connection simmered away like mulled cider.
This delightfully sweet little bite-sized story is the perfect holiday distraction and satisfies my Christmas sweet tooth on every level.

If a man and a woman were “caught” together, even just seeking shelter in a snowstorm, they had to marry to protect their reputations–especially hers. Josephine knew this and deliberately made a plan to do just that. Only she got caught with a man she wasn’t expecting. How fun is that?
Nicholas and Josephine were childhood friends and I thought it was hilarious that he got trapped when he was trying so hard to avoid just that. The things that happened in that hut were heart-warming and awakened sparks suppressed deep inside.
I love the way Monroe writes this sweet and swoony romance and fills these pages with kissing boughs, sheep, snowball fights, love and respect, along with familiar and comforting holiday traditions.
This sweet romantic novella is sure to hit the sweet spot for holiday reading.

Arthur and Phoebe had such a delightful first meet, and subsequent meetings, in A DOUBLE MASQUERADE. I love how the fox and the peacock came together in such fun and ingenious ways.
THEIR MASKED SECRET reveals a group of young lords who must find wives and they are so frivolous in their attempts. James and Meredith endure so many adventures through misunderstandings and secrets, and theirs is a sweet and entertaining story.
The lonely hearts advertisements played such an interesting and unique role in MASQUERADE-A-LA-MODE. The tangled up twisty turns were so amusing and Charles and Clarissa get swept up in the chaos.
These novellas are sweet little diversions and it was so much fun to dive into a world of secret identities, balls, romance, and more.

Margo is a buyer for a posh clothing chain but there's no room there for her desire to clothe all sizes of women. With her stunning eye for fashion, she opens her own shop in small town Friendly. I love her cleverness in winning its citizens over and her Switzerland moments with her neighbor, Tuck. Margo is so comfortable with herself and that's so refreshing.
Tuck and Margo have such an easy, sweet, and swoony relationship with all the feels, even though this is a novella. I loved these characters, Houdini the cat, and the quirky and fun supporting cast. I can't wait to jump back into Friendly again.

The sparks sprayed much like a quick stop on the ice and I couldn't get enough of their unlikely romance. Although they're from different socioeconomic different worlds, this just proves that parents shouldn't have a say in a love match--it's between the couple. I loved watching their friendship slowly grow, and that combined with a little business mystery settled me in for a sweet and enjoyable read.

A Christmas house party, with both of them present, leads to some fresh discoveries that turned my world (and I'm sure theirs) upside down.
I love the Victorian era and although sad, it was interesting to see the results of Prince Albert's passing on this little party. I love when real history meets fiction.
Sophie is bold, yet soft, as she makes familial sacrifices, and I couldn't help but adore the way she interacts with not only Ned, but with her parents and sister. Ned is a man of character and loyalty and he got what he greatly deserved.
This story is simply sweet and lovely, full of mistletoe sparks, longing sighs, and satisfying growth.
