What an absolute pleasure to be back with Tallus and Diem as they solve another intriguing case. The sassy, stylish and stubborn Tallus and Diem with What an absolute pleasure to be back with Tallus and Diem as they solve another intriguing case. The sassy, stylish and stubborn Tallus and Diem with all his instability and insecurities are now boyfriends. Circumstances have them travelling to Port Hope where a grieving mother requires their investigative abilities. It’s a case that had me hooked from the start and the twists and turns throughout certainly kept me on my toes when it came to guessing the villain. At times my heart broke for Diem and the life he’d had to endure, he’s truly a troubled soul but with Tallus by his side more of the heavily constructed walls surrounding him start to crumble. I also found myself giggling at the absurdity of the Bed and Breakfast they had to endure but it did bring them closer together. This is a fantastic read which kept me fully engaged from start to finish and I loved seeing the relationship between these two wonderfully flawed men grow stronger as slowly but surely Diem opened himself up just a little bit more and accepted some good into his life. ...more
I loved every moment of Jed and Artie’s story. These two wonderful men had me hooked from the very beginning and Fantastic end to a wonderful series.
I loved every moment of Jed and Artie’s story. These two wonderful men had me hooked from the very beginning and both of them have burrowed into my heart. Artie is clever, funny, super sweet with some sassiness to balance it all out. Jed is still in mourning and that grief has held him back from forming a close relationship with another. When circumstances have him becoming Artie’s fake husband feelings eventually happen. The road to their HEA does have a few pot holes along the way but nothing that derails them from their goal. This very enjoyable and engaging read has plenty of humour, sass and banter. Add in some steamy mixed with sweet, a plot that gave me plenty of laughs and some feels along the way including the bonus of a cameo from some Cornwall friends, I was left a very happy and satisfied when I closed my kindle. ...more

Once again the dependable Alice Winters has gifted us with another incredible read. Liam is very much a “morally grey” character filled with sarcasm whilst Gabriel is a sunshiney person full of goodness. They work together as homicide detectives until circumstances see them parting ways. When Gabriel’s life is in danger, Liam returns to the Police Department to get his man back alive. Although only Liam knows that Gabriel is his man. There’s plenty of snark and humour balanced with some action and drama and a slow burn romance beautifully entwined between these elements. The intriguing plot had me pulled in from the very first line and kept me engaged to the last. It also kept me guessing and certainly had me thinking “ohh, plot twist”. There’s plenty of side characters to keep things interesting but I especially loved Lucille Pawl who absolutely oozes attitude! I can’t wait for more in the Deadly Mistakes series....more

It all stThis is book 4 in the Medium Trouble series and once again Hiro and Maddox find themselves running into trouble with some chaos on the side. It all starts in the plane on the way to Japan and it’s pretty much full on and non stop until the very end. Of course Reggie, Natalie and Keaton are included in the mayhem as well as some new and very interesting side characters. I was hooked from the very beginning as this intriguing storyline wound its way through some twists and turns until Hiro, Maddox (and their human and ghostly helpers) bested the baddies. Of course there’s the signature hilarity, sass and banter this author is well known known for, some steam, some sweet, a very satisfying conclusion to the chaos and one very swoon worthy “oh my heart” moment that left me a touch giddy and with a huge smile ...more

It waChris and Reed have burrowed their way into my heart and will always stay there. Their story just resonated with me and hit all the right notes. It warmed my heart, made me laugh and had me smiling from start to finish. All the tropes I love are here - sunshine/grumpy, small town, fake husbands, bodyguard/protectee - a mix that results in a very entertaining and enjoyable rom com that kept me engaged from start to finish.
Chris is an adorably sweet and quirky charcuterie specialist who also happens to be generous beyond measure and a magnet for trouble. Think along the lines of inadvertent bar mishap with bikers whilst attempting to do a good deed. Circumstances have the very vigilant and very dedicated bodyguard Reed Sunday enter his life causing them to relocate to the small town of Copper County and its delightful inhabitants. (Copper County just so happens to be next door to O’Leary so there’s plenty of cameos from the O’Leary residents to add some colour.) Chris and Reed find themselves attracted to each other and it’s not long before the chemistry between them sparks ⚡️. Of course the road to their HEA is not without some external drama but nothing that can derail these two wonderful men from having the life they want together and I couldn’t stop cheering for them along the way. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. ...more

I absolutely adore the sweet, absentminded author Toby. He’s socially awkward with a lack of people skills that’s so endearing and at times highly amusing. Hellhound Dex is his neighbour and he does struggle at times when relating to and the understanding of humans. These two wonderful men are just perfect for each other and share a rather unique love language. The road to their HEA has a dash of angst due to external sources with plenty of steamy times and sweet cuddly moments. I cheered them on from their first fumbling attempts at flirting all the way to their well deserved HEA. I laughed and giggled throughout this very enjoyable and engaging romance and my heart was filled with happiness at the end. There’s plenty of interesting side characters just waiting in their stories to be told and I eagerly await the next in this new and exciting series. ...more

The very sassy Tallus and grumpy Diem are back together in that “partnership you have when you’re not having partnership” way. A non partnership non boyfriend way. Tallus finds himself needing Diem’s assistance when he comes across a possible “case” requiring a lot more investigative skills than he has. Tallus can still ramble and talk nonstop and Diem still has major communication problems and limited social skills but during this very intriguing mystery with all its little twist and turns, Diem slowly and begrudgingly begins to open up. Between his boundaries being pushed and his desire to be better, Diem’s personal growth in this instalment is a mix of heartbreaking and hopeful with a very warm and satisfying HFN ending. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next for these two wonderful men. ...more

I went from laughing out loud at the sass and banter to wiping tears from my face as my heartstrings were pulled taught. These two wonderful characters were totally oblivious to the fact that they are actually more than friends, both being very anti relationships for very valid reasons. Danny twigs first and it takes a while for Riley to final realise that Danny is not only his best friend but also his forevermore. Being mated means Danny having to return to the clan which brings plenty of drama but nothing that can derail their well earned HEA. I enjoyed this engaging read from start to finish. From watching them both work through their commitment issues and exposing vulnerabilities to each other to sizzling chemistry with plenty of spice balanced with moments so sweet and tender. It is a bittersweet end to this wonderful series but the introduction of some very interesting side characters means more to look forward to from this author.

Real life was not allowed to interfere with the adventure that Silas and Callisto took me on. Circumstances bring these two delightful men together and before long the fate of the kingdom lies with them. Along the way their merry band face plenty of action and drama, whilst collecting some weirdly amazing pets along the way and managing to give me a multitude of LOL moments. With everything going on Silas and Callisto also navigate the sweetest heartwarming romance which blends the perfect amount of sweet/steam with humour on the way to their well deserved HEA. I loved every moment of this very engaging and enjoyable read. There’s a great cast of main and secondary characters and an intriguing story line all brought to life by the superb story telling ability of this author. There’s expected and unexpected travel between realmRomily, Fox and the rest of the Foxily Family are back for more mayhem in their latest adventure. There’s expected and unexpected travel between realms, plenty of action and drama (think huge plot twist) and of course all the extended family members playing their parts. The engagement ring saga continues, with another twist that I never expected but truly enjoyed the “Ah ha” moment. Fortunately for Fox and Romily all ends well for them, the family and the world in general with minimal angst and lots of love and laughter.
I really enjoyed being back in this universe and couldn’t stop myself from turning the pages. The world building is just as excellent as always, there’s the perfect balance between action/drama and romance and of course plenty of steamy times for Romily and Fox. ...more
Freddie and Darcy have been friends since early childhood and it was in their teen years that Freddie knew he wanted an HEA Witty and romantic read ❤️
Freddie and Darcy have been friends since early childhood and it was in their teen years that Freddie knew he wanted an HEA with Darcy. Freddie is the tour guide whilst Darcy droves the bus on a Jane Austen themed tour. A tour with an eclectic group of guests, plenty of Jane Austen information (some of which is highly unusual) and two best friends who finally acknowledge their feelings for each other. Loved the wit and banter, the affection/love between the two wonderfully likeable main characters and of course an HEA with very low angst and plenty of laughs - classic Lily Morton. ...more
