I found myself laughing out loud at the Obi-Wan and Anikan dynamic. It reminded me a lot of Master & Apprentice by Claudia Grey, especially as Obi-Wan was struggling with the grief of losing Qui Gon and being an excellent master to Anikan. This felt so real.
The story felt like an episode of TV. Although so much could have been explored further, everything was resolved satisfactorily. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

For real, though, this was a beautiful story. It gives a lot of context to Lando's role in getting Han back and also feels super tense. The only thing letting it down was that I had read the other Dark Droids comic before reading this and knew what was going to happen. That would be my problem with these crossover comics; it felt too repetitive. ...more

It gave a thoughtful and engaging presentation of the High Republic. To be honest I read this like a mission debriefing of all the events that lead up to where we are right now. It was in depth but also readable in a way that I just wanted to keep reading. It was especially useful because it gives all the events from comics to books to audio dramas. As I haven’t been able to read the Adventure comics I’m glad I got to read a brief summary of their story. ...more
