JLA has a way of mesmerizing you throughout her stories and you just can’t get away once you start it, the Same happened to me. I am in awe of this story from every angle.
The plot is mind-blowing and is executed brilliantly. The audio was breathtaking, the artist did an amazing job. I will say that the last 10 chapters were strikingly fascinating with so much going on and all the revelations on the way but from the moment the book started I was done for. It was like getting lost in a world where I wanted to be someone, to be just a part of that story and experience it all.
Every chapter offers something more than the last one and keeps me hooked. I think I love this pair more than Poppy and Casteel but the margin is very less. JLA brought life to these characters and they feel so real and all magic either good or bad feels real too. Now I can read the next book. This one is getting added to my favorite books. I want to say so much about the characters and story but I will refrain myself because it’s all never-ending praise from me....more

I love the relationship growth and the bond between Poppy and Cas is totally adorable. They are couple goals. With each page the anxiety grows, all you can think of is what will happen next and it’s keeps you on your nerves.
And that ending is bang on, nothing I could have thought of. Whatever you think might happen next just goes pufff in the air and you get something much juicer and entertaining, and emotional. I’m looking forward for Book 4, which we have no news for. Just can’t get enough of poppy&cas.
