It was different and the intensity was very high which ignited the chemistry to the next level. The feeling of being cherished and understood is supreme in the story and is clearly visible in how a never-ending bond is formed between the characters. The feeling of being ‘seen’ without saying anything is just fabulous. I adore how well the narrators Lily Reynolds and John Lane have narrated the story and have the exact feelings being portrayed.
Now I am very much interested in the Morgans and need to read all the books in the series. The characters are special making me want to read all of them. The main character's vibe is so positive and related to us humans that it is just crazy. It is a must-try series for all romance lovers....more

I love how well Eva moulds stories and presents them that it’s impossible not to love the baby. The characters were intriguing and their interactions left a blush on my cheeks every time.
It was very easy to relate to them and get loose a little. MC books have a road name that defines the person and I think Ghost is perfect for our male character, just like the cover is. It describes him with accuracy whereas Luna is a sweetheart. I love her and her doing what she did in the end was strong and appreciated, it shows how much she loves the family.
The entire time I was thinking of the character who had the next book lined up and who he was going to end up with so the glimpse in the end got me more excited to read his story. I really adore an author who makes me giddy for the next book even with me reading the current one. That shows how well the characters are written, and we want to read them all.

Be patient with the story, at the start, you might confuse things but if you keep on reading then everything gets cleared out and you can put two and two together very easily. With thriller romance you need all the patience you can get to achieve the best experience. The plot made me question so many things while reading and kept me engaged.
Madi is a darling and her character won my heart from the start. Lara and Benji are the highlight and the cutest. My heart goes to Tyler too but in a very different way. I need his happy ending too, I don’t know if he has already gotten one, I need to check other books of Brittannee too and then there is Duncan who is superb. Do read it....more

Reading the second book just after the first was a delight after that scary cliffhanger in the previous one. The journey was absolutely nerve-wracking and I was like what?? What’s happening and when will this end? Will the justice be served? What is to come next? All the questions kept circling in my mind from start to finish.
The plot is fabulous and the execution is perfection itself. I loved the writing, the characters are to die for. Their bonding, friendship and everything in between is just icing on the cake. A great balance of everything needed was there in the story which I really really enjoyed.

Nessa was so sweet and charming and sheltered in this big bad world of the underworld. Nothing is as it seems to be and Nessa is not into it at all. She is a fantastic human being. Let me tell you that I hate love triangles, but this one is really a great one, with clarity that didn’t mess up my head. It was a good love triangle but actually not a love triangle (you will get my drift once you read the book). It fits the bill, but I personally will not keep it in that section since I could see from where all this was coming.
Knox is such a sweetheart and devoted person. I loved his character, vibe, and heart. Bianca is the star and such a sweet-hearted girl. I can read about her all day long. Rina is a miss for me. I got her perspective, but I don’t agree with her thought process at all. The ending epilogue sparked my interest in her story.
The best thing I felt was that it had the POVs of all the people that are needed at any given point of interaction. The story itself is intriguing and is written well. Listening to it in one go definitely enhanced its perspective. The best thing was that I didn’t have to wait for the next book to free me from the anxiety of what could happen between books 2&3.
Within a few pages I fell in love with the main character Georgie, she has a charm that instantly attracts people. She is intelligent, beautiful and full of perspectives. The narrator Andi Arndt is freaking amazing portraiting Georgie.
Meanwhile, Jacob Morgan’s narration for Reed is hot. His character is equally hot once the layers of onion start peeling itself for our dear Georgie. Reed is an enigma but is actually very soft and dear. He is inspiring for many in the book.
All in all, I loved every aspect of the story and the ending is flawlessly done considering all the points and situations that lead everything to this final point. Every loose end gets tied up and everyone gets what they deserve. Perfect.
