This book picks off right from where it ended in the previous. The thing that I liked most about this book was that it had some plot and that just because the main characters had feelings for each other they didn't immediately throw themselves at each other. I was totally expecting that plus no plot ...more
Well... how do I start this... I didn't like this book. Jade West's books have been a hit or miss for me and this definitely was a 'miss'. I kind of had the idea that this book is not going to have anything special (view spoiler)[(because MCs had fallen in love in the second book of series, and I couldn't understand what else can happen now that the main event has occurred and I was right about that) (hide spoiler)] but I still hoped it was going to be better. I didn't like all the unnecessary drama. All I can say is nothing special happens, it felt like a huge epilogue. I was expecting more scenes with both the MCs family but there wasn't much. I don't even know what happened throughout the book and I can't even write because I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! Really disappointed.

This is my first book by this author and despite that, I had expectations because why not? Bully romance? A boy from the wrong side of tracks? Blackmail and Corruption?!! Sign me up! Because I live for this sh*t. Unfortunately I didn't get all that, not really.
The book started good, it was giving me really good vibes but then 'The Rats' a.k.a boys from the wrong side of tracks joined 'Richstone School' a.k.a school for rich kids from where it all went downhill. Why? After that there's no plot, I will write that down below.

⚜⚜Plot⚜⚜
Nothing major happens till the end of the book and oh that ending!! ugh!! I will talk about it at the end of the review. Now plot, as I said nothing major happens but hey! that's fine as long as I get something interesting from Main Characters like romance, sparks, etc. after all it is a romance. Let me tell you I didn't get that. The main characters instantly like each other and start having sex. I don't feel sparks, the chemistry!. What's the whole book about? (view spoiler)[Bringing down the so-called Queen Bee and bully guy of school. Their whole mission was that which was boring and honestly? I was not that interested in it. The whole 'ruining bullies of school' part felt cliché and the bullies didn't even give me bad guy vibes you know why? Because it wasn't shown and the hero of this book was the same and both Main characters were showing double standards. (hide spoiler)] Basically, the plot was not that enjoyable at all.

⚜⚜Characters⚜⚜
✿Phoebe✿ (aka heroine): After reading this book I finally realized what people mean by 'fictional characters' not having 'personality' and why it's not enjoyable. Seriously, I need a badge, I have come to that stage of reading where I can finally recognize 'wrong things' in books. Back to Phoebe, she has zero personality '0' 'zéro' 'cero' 'शून्य' say it in whatever language you want to it will be zero. Throughout the book, I was like am I reading about the same heroine? Because this girl doesn't have any unique identity except her reddish-brown hair. She felt like one of those AI systems to whom you give a command and they comply and there is nothing else about them. I was like is this girl even human? What hobbies do you have? Do you have morals/rules and regulations/feelings for yourself? The only thing I know about this girl is her name
Phoebe Ridely, super-rich, parents want her to get married, goes do school, eats, does homework, chit-chats with friends, sleeps and then repeats
that's it, there is nothing more or less in her life and oh she has zero ideas about 'poor people'. Her friends too were so boring and didn't interest me at all.
✿Liam✿ (a.k.a hero): I liked him despite him being '@$$h*le', he was giving me really strong 'bad bad boy' vibes. But then he became boring but that's not even the main problem the time when I started hating him was when he showed double standards and (view spoiler)[ forced the so-called queen bee to give him a blowjob (to teach her 'a lesson' apparently), that's completely wrong, queen bee or not, b*tch or not nobody should be forced to do such a thing and it was completely brushed aside because hey! That girl is bad so she deserved it, she also didn't overreact and blushed later on 'so she deserved it'.
I am not sure how I feel about cliffhangers. I sometimes like them and sometimes don't and yes, I knew this book was going to end with a cliffhanger. I think I like the cliffhangers where the things were happening right in front of my eyes and I didn't see it coming until it was revealed and then there are 'the cliffhangers' in which everyone is happy but an unnecessary drama is inserted to increase the number of pages/number of books in series on top of that it happened because of 'misunderstanding' which you saw coming as soon as you started reading the chapter which pisses you off. Yup that's exactly the kind of cliffhangers I don't like and this book had that. (view spoiler)[Also, Phoebe loved Liam but then immediately she starts blaming him for her friend's death (which I can bet 99% isn't dead) Which went against the fact she loves him because if she loved him she would have given him a chance to explain, but the second book is not released yet so I can't complain about that (anything can happen and be changed). (hide spoiler)]

Honestly,I liked this book better than the first one(Heartless) because we get to know more about Lucian and Elaine. It explains their actions and why they are the way they are.Especially when it came to Elaine,in the first book(Heartless) I didn't understand why she is suicidal and I didn't like her that much but this book changes it all and I used to think Lucian is psycho or something but again this book changes it all .
Coming to the plot: Past of Elaine and Lucian is told and it's a Jade West book and you know what to expect ... and it's delivered with even more steam and hotness ...more
Prince Charming starts off right from where Stroke of Midnight ended . The book is written in dual point of view . This is a age-gap romance and Cinderella retelling .
"Dirty girls belong on the floor"
I don't know how K. Webster manages to write such hot books each and everytime ! Like , there are some really hot scenes .
A little recap , Ash was a maid and now works just for Winston , she had left candy rappers a.k.a glass slipper from which Winston found her . He paid her and still pays her for sexual favors , humiliation but let's admit it he does it more to help Ash and for fun which I liked a lot and hot . (view spoiler)[Ash has got evil step-brothers (triplets) who at the ending of last book had ruined our Cinderelliot's dress , taken all her money and discovered her secret . Then came Leo Morelli who blackmailed Ash for information of Winston Constantine . (hide spoiler)]
Winston is still same , same dirty @$$h*le .
"I am not the prince . Ash is just the maid and not a princess . I am the villain and my story doesn't end with a carriage ride into the sunset ."
I liked the fact that the most important thing for Winston is Ash's safety , he always kept her as priority and understood her and her needs .
Ash is also the same but this book gave me another insight to her character that is she is really strong . She didn't cower in front of her step-brothers or Leo Morelli , she held her ground , acted smartly and was not unnecessarily dependent .
Let's not forget Perry(he is so good by the way , he has helped Ash a lot) and Winston's relationship , they have got really good brother's relationship
"I will be a cool uncle , Teach your kid sailing and shit,Winston" "You won't teach my kid sailing and shit" I growl , my eye twitching at the idea of Perry teaching anyone how to sail
Now why did I remove a star ? For a long time I felt there was no plot/plot was not moving on . I don't know why but this always happens with book series , which really annoys me . Therefore , minus one star .
Overall , other than the plot thing I enjoyed this book , it will be a great weekend read if you are planning to read it .

Her father starts to use all of her college funds to impress her stepmother because of which she is forced to work as a cleaner and she is not good at her work, which in turn gains the attention of Winston Constantine.
Winston is filthy rich,he has rules and expects everyone to follow it,he won't tolerate any insults towards Constantine name.He makes a deal with Ash, she is the only one who seems to fit his needs and kink. Well I did like this book , but it felt like instalove ,it got very interesting somewhere around there marriage then it went downhill. Emelia felt really cliche ,author tried to show that she is strong or that she has fire in her but I didn't feel that.I would have loved if she was shown more stronger or there was something really special about her other than she being very beautiful. I feel like many things could have been done better in this book and it would have been really good, but you can definitely give it a try ,who knows you might like it. **I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.**...more

This book was so good. I usually don't like step-brother romances, so I was quite surprised when I liked this one. This is also a bully romance. I have read so many bully romances that I always get disappointed not because they are bad or something but because they aren't bully romance. If you too feel the same then read this book-let me tell you it won't disappoint. This is bully romance and not just for namesake.
'Knox' has always hated 'Aspen' right from age eight. Knox had made Aspen's life a 'living hell' right from her first day of school. There is an unexpected death of her father which later on causes Knox's father and Aspen's mother to get together. Knox's father is pretty strict and Aspen's mother doesn't care about Aspen much, so you know how it must have affected them.
There is also a mystery factor to this book, when Aspen starts living with Knox, somebody in the city starts killing random girls, ls, or are they random? I liked the whole mystery thing.
The characters: Knox- I had love/hate feelings for Knox because what he did to Aspen way cruel but that changed slowly into the bok.
Aspen: She is different, nowadays whatever books I read I always find heroines who are very innocent or very sassy but Aspen is not like that plus the job that she does is also very different. Aspen is also the reason why I didn't hate Knox so much in starting because she didn't cower in front of him. At times I didn't like what Aspen did when you read the book you will understand but there was a scene where Knox made-confront the situation' which y liked.
And of cour, so this book is dark,h, hot and hotly...more

The first thing I noticed was writing is really good. This was my first book by this author and I wasn't disappointed. I liked Monti and Sasha both of their personalities were good.Although I wish more was written about Monti and Sasha's romance because there were a lot of other point of views going on. Monti and Sasha are childhood sweethearts ,Monti is poor and Sasha's father is very strict and when they grow up their feelings for each other become more.Monti is smart and Sasha starts playing songs. What I liked most that hero was so different, till now whatever romance I have read they all have almost same hero ,so it was good to read a different one.
At one time somewhere in middle I found it boring but Mystery kept me going and it didn't disappoint me ,somewhere near end I knew who was going to be the murderer but there was one more thing I never saw coming and I was surprised .So yeah the mystery is well written and romance was cute.
