Micah and Nox are now one of my fav couples, I loved how they interacted, the tension between them, the taste of forbidden, of secret, of hate !! When they’re together, they just become one - they’re really made for each other !!
It was wonderful to get a better understanding of the Seraphim and how Heathen works, I love them all by the way, this unit is a family and they truly support each other, also they’re all a little crazy which is just a perfect image of angels. Micah is the perfect leader, he’s in charge of everything and his main goal is to ensure the security of his unit, he would do anything for them, but Micah is missing someone to take care of him, to let him breathe, release all the tension, the pent-up energy. Good thing that fate chose Nox for him, despite knowing that he should not get involved with an angel, he cannot prevent himself from making trouble, catching his attention, and infuriating him !!
Lot of games of cat and house, lot of banter, lot of tension, that book has everything I love, and in addition, Micah and Nox bring the story higher !! It will be one of my favourite reads!!

After 7 years of touring with his band, Sebastian is back home in need of a big break but his return is not really what he thought it would be. People are more interested in his “sexu*l exploit” than in his career. While trying to find his footing again, he cannot stop himself from pushing Jess, to irritate him - until the day when their banter becomes a kiss and then something more !! Jess hates Sebastian, there was always something about him that irritated him, and now he’s back in his life. Sharing siblings who are dating means that their paths cross often and he finds it more and more difficult to resist his burning attraction for him.

First of all the blurb really appealed to me when I read it, only one bed, enemies having to cohabit with a werewolf protecting a vampire assassin, well count me in ! And it was an absolute delight, I love the size difference and the reverse power dynamic. Even if Angelo hates vampires, it’s hard for me to not feel attracted to Vin’s charm. They are definitely made for each other ! Also be ready for some mystery, fighting, strange things are happening, a war is on the verge of happening between the three Coven (witches, werewolves and vampires). So much tension and questions, I’m curious to know what will happen in the next book !
If you like paranormal, mafia and sassy vampires, this is for you.

Prater's take on witches, even in the previous series, witches were different from the usual kind and for sure Quiet is really peculiar in the best possible way - she’s so smart, curious and her magic was so interesting.
The Duke of the Damned is dead and Quiet has been tasked to investigate and find the culprit, however, she hadn’t planned to see her ex-vampire partner Rorick who also made his way to the castle. Most of all the castle decided to mess with her plans and retained them inside, now they have to investigate, protect themselves from the weird things happening there and not kill each other.
The tension between the two is intense, I loved the vampire/witch opposition but most of all their interactions, dynamic, they’re just sarcastic, sassy with a touch of darkness. I was mesmerised by the instalment of the story and the plot - I’m excited for what is coming next.

So when the opportunity to ally with the witches arises, well he cannot say no especially since it involves his fated mate. Meanwhile, Ethan has been rejected all his life by his coven due to his lack of power and the effect he has on magic. But the man is on a mission, he must save everyone at all costs even if it means marrying the vampire king. However, Nathaniel is nothing like he thought, instead of having a husband craving for blood and violence, he finds a caring person who doesn’t hesitate to put his needs last and is adamant to protect him. Faced with this revelation, Ethan will do everything in his power to protect his new husband as well.
I really loved that story, it was beautiful to see the love bloom between the two, most of all how much Nathaniel cherished Ethan for who he was and not how powerful he was. And after the rejection Ethan suffered, he’s truly baffled by Nathaniel’s attitude and finds comfort in it ...more

First of all, Willow is a complex character, she had a hard childhood, thought she was someone special for a minute, then was abandoned by the Sluagh and had to face the consequences of her action and the loss of her magic. Soo yeah she had some bagages, tired of not doing anything at all about it, she decided to take revenge on the Six and then stumbles into another kingdom governed by dreams and nightmares, and where humans are Nothing ( such an interesting society and different from Elphyne). The Six are the House of Shadows with a prominent place in this society but they don’t remember her at all, when she is chosen to be a representative of their house in a tournament she’s rather surprised. Now she has to live with them and fight for those she considers her enemies. Fox is the fifth one but for once in his long life, he’s the first one as he’s the only one remembering their Queen, it is his role to conquer her and save them all. Fox appears as the nicest of them all but he’s still as ferocious as the others. I truly loved the banter between him and Willow, it was sooo entertaining.
I truly love the fact that they are six and one at the same time, meaning they’re all her mate; and it makes so much sense. I’m really excited for the next book and to see how it will evolve, for sure Willow has a lot of work but I cannot wait to see them fall one by one. Also, my heart is screaming for Varen !!!

I needed some time to reflect on what I thought about this book, it’s different from Ariana Nash's usual stories but I really liked it. There is this I needed some time to reflect on what I thought about this book, it’s different from Ariana Nash's usual stories but I really liked it. There is this lingering with the plot, making you want to know what is going on, why is it happening, and what is coming next.
Francis was such a surprise, there is so much under his shy demeanour, there is fire but only Angel sees it. If at first I wasn’t sure about the priest thing, I understood it and I’m really curious to see where it will go now that I have a better grasp on Francis. As for Vitari, well he’s scary and his devotion to his family is impressive and also scary because of the impact it has on him and others.
I think that this story needs to be read to be enjoyed, I don’t want to spoil anything and I’m totally available if anyone wants to talk about it ...more

Between fights, resentment, love, they will have to face each other, their mistakes and will they be able to go beyond all of it and face the consequence.

Now that he’s being hunted by his so-called brothers, his only choice is to find the old Nyk who has been released from the compound prison, and deliver him to Mikaelis. But one thing is sure, his meeting with Saint was clearly not what he expected ! Saint is finally free from the Brotherhood and just wants to enjoy his newfound freedom, but he cannot deny the attraction he feels for the one following him, decides to make him understand the truth, Saint will do anything to convince Octavius that he might have to change his way of thinking.
The plot was intense, I couldn’t stop reading and I lived for the dynamic between Octavius and Saint

I was excited to see again Francis and Vitari, and I definitely more connected with the second book !! I was so not expecting this, and enjoyed it very much !
While investigating Standmore and to put some distance from Montague, Francis goes to the Vatican in Rome where he would feel more secure. Vitari is also in Rome, despite his father’s warning he cannot let go of Francis, sparse night calls are the only ones he has and it’s not enough. When he learns that Francis’s life might be in jeopardy and that he’s in Rome, he has to see him. The sparks between them are sooo intense and still there, they’re just connected and cannot sever the link without tremendous heartbreak.
The plot is taking an interesting turn, more investigation, more revelation and that ending !! I want to know what’s coming next, Francis truly surprised me I love the evolution of his character, I finally connected with him, his past, his trauma, his fight between his love for a man and his devotion to God and the path that he likes. He’s going beyond everything and becoming so much stronger. Also impossible to not feel for Vitari, the pressure, the weight of secrets, and his inner conflict with his father.
Sooo excited for the final instalment !

It was unexpected to see how Mori really was because we only have a glimpse of him but we don’t really know his character and seeing him with River - they are sooo made for each other, I was just in love.
It’s an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, kind of second chance/redemption just soo good. Since Mori knows that he and his brothers have fated mates, he’s just waiting impatiently for his to come to him. Helping River was not planned but deals are his favourites - so here it comes !! However, Mori cannot explain why sometimes he feels pulled toward River. Meanwhile, River is determined to find his brother and to protect him at all costs - but he cannot deny his attraction toward Mori. Between lies, battles, commitment, mourning, they will have a lot to fight for and especially for each other.
Sooo excited about this series and I cannot wait to read the next one. I wish Blaise will have his happy ending, he suffered so much, and also I love Toby and they would look good together ...more

They both are racers and that world is not the kindest for who they are, they have their role to play but most of all Sebastian is stuck in the « pretty nice boy » role that his agent created for him. Seeing Axel being a little himself that he would ever be makes Sebastian doubts himself in a way that he feels he has to change, to be true to himself.
The shift in their relationship is sooo well done, I loved their rivalry and it’s not really that they hate each other, they have different persona which make them clash but in the track, it is « may the best win » and Axel is not afraid to pull our dirty moves.
This book was also such an easy read, I only stopped to sleep and read it all at once. I’m excited to know more about the next characters ...more

Zion has been obsessed with Balthazar since their first meeting, but Balty is straight and doesn’t seem to see him, except when we are playing against each other during the Games. Now Balty is engaged to his sister and Zion is really not happy about it, he’s ready to do anything to have him even fighting for his position as the heir of the family.
Balty wants to help his family to show that he is more than just the “dumb one” who Hulk out when he’s angry and agrees to go through an arranged marriage. However, when he sees his rival and enemy he’s even less happy about the situation, the good note in this crazy family is the little queen D who came to him from the first day (Zion’s daughter Daisy). Trying to survive there, Balty starts to realise that he might be attracted to Zion and only him !!
I loved the dynamic between the two and with Daisy, it’s really well done and as crazy as ever. Now a new character appeared and it looks like he might be involved with the twins, will they have a book each or together ...more
