we met angel several books ago and he was always described as a literal angel and the opposite of diablo. when cora started posting teasers about “little devil” i knew that i wasn’t getting the bad mafia husband only soft for angel, as i wanted, but something else. now, i am glad that i read it, however this rebranding didn’t really make sense. actually, angel acted as diablo should’ve if he wasn’t portrayed as a caricature of himself. mostly, i don’t get why angel was presented in a way for several books and he just wasn’t like that. and im not talking about an interiority that we discovered here, he really is like that.
so yeah, my experience was mostly ruined by this. i repeat, i enjoyed it, but i can’t stop thinking about the book that we’ve been teased by for years.
also, cora if you’re reading this, delete that anthony chapter. it doesn’t add anything to the story and it’s something that’s only done in fan fiction. thank you. ...more

loved, loved, loved both main characters. i genuinely wanted to hug them all the time that i wasn’t thinking about the double dicks. which, sure, it wasn’t a lot of time, but it still counts. i actually have a small little complaint, this is a little bit longer than it should be and i guess we should all thank the author for trying to limit the three repetitions. trying being the key word. i also adored the resolution of the conflict, because while the conflict was predictable, the resolution wasn’t at all.
i genuinely hope this isn’t the end of this series because i fell in love with characters in both books and i reeeeaaaaaally need their stories. please and thank you.

unfortunately, our forbidden relationship really shouldn’t have been forbidden. milo is literally 28 who the fuck should tell him who he can or can’t date??? that’s something that bothered me a lot. he should’ve been much younger for it to work. and then it would’ve been a real issue. because it ended up being almost not a problem at all, and i mean, as it should, but that’s literally the whole problem of the book???
all in all, i did enjoy this, however the age thing really bothered me.
