For me it was like reading the previous 2 books with added detail here and there. There was no gut punch, hurt or pain for me. It was kind of dare I say boring? I now understand there’s a fine art with producing a series and not overlaying every book in the series with all the same details. Perhaps Charlotte’s not an author for me anymore ...more
I'm kinda lost with this one. The blurb did not point to it being in a different world? Plot holes force you to scratch your head more than once. ThenI'm kinda lost with this one. His lack of remorse, his OTT alphaholeness, made him less desirable by the minute. I guess he deserves points for remaining celibate after the initial betrayal. But OMG you can’t help but love Luna. She’s so broken but so strong, with a horrible upbringing she does the best she can with what’s thrown at her. As for Grizz well, he feels like I’ve stepped back in time to old school NJ and the King reapers time. He is a massive prick. I was so angry with him so many times that I lost count. My heart broke more than once for the things he said and the way he treated Luna. But the main question I ask myself in this case is does he redeem himself. Yes, yes he does, but by gee I didn’t think it was possible. He’s a biker, he’s a jerk, he’s alpha did I mention he’s a jerk? Bravo NJ ...more
