This book isn’t just an enemies-to-lovers romance—it’s a raw, deeply layered story about love, loss, and finding someone who truly sees you.
Lacey has always been the girl who came second—the afterthought, never the first choice, never the one someone fought for. On top of that, she’s been raising her younger siblings alone since their father’s death, carrying the weight of responsibility while the rest of the world moves on. She doesn’t have time for distractions—especially not cocky, and infuriating TJ, who challenges her in ways she never expected.
TJ has his own demons—family issues that have shaped him in ways he doesn’t like to admit. He hides behind his charm and confidence, but when it comes to Lacey, she sees through it. What starts as tension and rivalry slowly turns into something deeper, something real. Their chemistry is undeniable, but what truly makes this book special is the emotional depth. Watching TJ push past Lacey’s walls, prove to her that she’s not just an afterthought, and fight for her in a way no one ever has before? Absolutely breathtaking.
Sincerely, Your Enemy isn’t just a romance—it’s a story about resilience, healing, and choosing love even when it scares you. If you love an emotional, slow-burn romance with unforgettable characters, this book is a must-read. Eliah Greenwood has completely outdone herself!

This collection brings together three incredible romances that had me hooked from start to finish. Each story is filled with swoon-worthy moments, heartwarming friendships, and just the right amount of angst to keep things interesting.
The first book, Bad Boys Break Hearts, pulled me in right away with the childhood friends-to-enemies-to-lovers dynamic. The tension and chemistry were so well done—I couldn’t stop turning the pages! Then came Nice Guys Don’t Win, which had one of my favorite tropes: roommates-to-lovers. The slow burn and undeniable attraction made it impossible not to root for the couple. And Real Players Never Lose? Hands down my favorite! A fake dating romance with a plus-size heroine and a hero who falls first? Yes, please! It was refreshing, sweet, and full of feel-good moments.
Micalea Smeltzer has such an effortless writing style that makes you feel every emotion right along with the characters. The friendships, the banter, the romance—it’s all so well done. If you love college romances with heart and heat, this series is a must-read.
Five stars, and I highly recommend it!

Woods is a heartfelt, slow-burn romance that brings readers back into the world of the Tavares family. Set in the nostalgic late 1990s, it follows Belmira Tavares, a young woman torn between her overbearing mother’s expectations and her own desires. Raised in a close-knit Portuguese-American community, Belmira’s life is defined by rules—until one act of rebellion changes everything and entangles her with Felix Ferreira.
Woods captures the warmth and complexities of the Tavares family and their cultural traditions, making it feel like coming home to familiar characters and dynamics. The romance is angsty and beautifully paced, exploring themes of love, timing, and personal growth. The emotional depth is further enhanced by the realistic portrayal of mental health, adding a raw and relatable layer to the story.
For fans of A.L. Woods, this book is a wonderful way to reconnect with the Tavares family. If you enjoy stories with rich cultural roots, family drama, and a love story full of heart, “Safe Bet” is a must-read. It releases on 4th February 2025, and is a fantastic start to the “Final Offer” trilogy.

Liv, on what should be the happiest day of her life, wakes up seven years in the past, just days before her ex-boyfriend Kit mysteriously disappeared. Given this rare second chance, Liv must decide whether to try and save Kit, knowing it could change the life she has built in the present.
This novel is both heartwarming and thought-provoking, blending humour and emotion in a way that keeps you hooked. Liv’s journey is a poignant reminder of the power of love, the weight of regret, and the courage it takes to face the past. It’s a perfect read for anyone who has ever wondered, "What if?"

There are many triggering moments in this book, so please be warned. Consider this to be Saw meets The Hunger Games, but with a developing romance between two people who share a dark family history.
Reading all Noelle and Evan had to go through was extremely tough and knowing their family history made the premise of the novel even more addictive. We go through everything with these characters, from the moment they were imprisoned and tortured to the aftermath years later, as they figure out why they were taken in the first place.
Another riveting book from Mia, who is one of my all-time favourite authors; her storytelling and writing is exceptional.

The cosmic soulmatism of it all kept me on the edge of my seat and my eyes riveted to my kindle the entire time. I read this entire book in one sitting, I simply started and then just couldn’t put it down. After spending one incredible night together Serena decides she’s not ready for any sort of relationship and sabotages any romantic connection she had with Henry. However, everything does not go as planned due to an unforeseen occurrence in which they both awaken in each other's bodies.
I laughed out loud multiple times due to all the shenanigans within this story. This was a perfect romantic comedy and I loved the banter, love, and loyalty between Serena and Henry. Serena was strong, sassy and knew what she wanted… before love, something she had never wanted or expected hit her hard. Henry was truly one of the most sweetest, caring and loving mmc I have ever read, he always followed his heart, no matter how much it hurt him in the process.
Everyone need to read this excellent addicting book.

Sunrise on the Reaping is not just a prequel—it’s a tragedy so raw, so agonizing, it lingers long after the final page. This is not just the story of Haymitch Abernathy’s past; it is the unraveling of a boy who dared to love in a world where love is a death sentence.
At the heart of it all is Lenore Dove, the girl who saw something beyond the Games, beyond survival. "I love you like all-fire," she told him. And for the first time, Haymitch let himself believe in something more. She wasn’t just his love—she was his hope. But in Panem, hope is the cruelest thing you can hold onto.
When Haymitch wins the 50th Hunger Games, he thinks he has beaten them. He outsmarts their traps, he survives. But survival is never victory. The Capitol does not forgive defiance—they erase it. They take Lenore. They make sure her death is merciless, one designed not just to kill her, but to destroy him in the process. And it works.
Haymitch is left with nothing. No family. No love. No illusions. Only a flint striker, etched with an entwined bird and snake—the last trace of Lenore, the last proof she ever existed.
Now, when I look at Haymitch in The Hunger Games, I see him differently. The broken boy who once believed in love. The man who drinks to forget. The mentor who refuses to let Katniss and Peeta hope—because he knows exactly what hope costs. He loved once. And the Capitol made sure he would never dare again.
I have never cried so hard over a book. Sunrise on the Reaping is not just a story—it’s a brutal, gut-wrenching reminder that in Panem, survival is the cruelest punishment of all.

Going into a Jennifer Hartmann novel guarantees you'll be a blubbering mess by the end of it, and this one was no exception. The forbidden aspects of this story were so deep that my heart was in my throat the entire time, and I could not put it down. Another sleepless night, but honestly? It was all worth it.

What an incredible fmc, Laine Summers was. A survivor turned femme fatale, how could you even ask for more?? She was written beautifully.
Now our mmc Jaxon Clemont had me on the floor; he was dangerous, sexy, and so messed up that I had to re-read parts of this book because I was so taken with him.
Mallory Fox is a new author to me, and she did not let me down. I will definitely read her previous works because I was left with such a book hangover after reading this one.
