My husband made fun of me because I told him these were my least favorite characters of the series so far and are both truly flawed and got in their own way (and her “trauma” was non existent and she just wanted to keep her parent’s image squeaky clean) but then continued to get worked up telling him about the plot.
So though I wish she wouldn’t hide so much of her feelings and not taunt Cole with Aiden, Cole was also an ass even when he was obsessed with her and jealous of every male interaction.
And I wish their kinky spice was spicier. Like the smex club scenes in Voyeur by Fiona Cole. So much of the spice in these books goes by quickly instead of taking its time and making you live it.
I’m still 7 books into the series and not stopping though so she’s got me there. ...more
