This book has so much and I felt like I was reading enough information for a duology but it was well paced and extremely enjoyable.
I had to dive right back into this author after reading Sea Witch and now I can’t stop. The fantasy worlds they build aren’t overly complicated, which make them feel realistic and the spice is so well placed and paced....more

The Sea Witch was amazing and I loved his inner monologues and reactions to watching her interact with the prince through their magical bond (he took her voice as trade to become human and can talk with her through the shell necklace she wears). At one point, she’s touching herself while alone after a night out with the Sea Witch and thinking of him while doing so, which means he was summoned and and to watch her.

Delane is an avid erotic audiobook fan (honestly same) and she thinks she can help Miller. Little does she know, Miller thinks she’s perfect and just wants to get closer to her and doesn’t think Delane would ever give him the time of day. Delane recognizes that Miller is super hot and sweet and perfect but lies about her experience (she’s also a virgin) so that he’s still let her help him.
It’s very steamy and if you like a submissive, golden retriever of a man, you’ll love this.

The changelings, specifically Lucas for this book, we’re a perfect mix of reacting to their inner animal and instincts and being that OTT alpha male while still respecting her boundaries and letting her make her own choices. But still deliciously got her out of her comfort zone so she could learn to give in and safely show her emotions.
I tell ya, when they were both dreaming of each other and neither of them knew it wasn’t a dream but they let themselves explore each other and let down their safeguards to be together?? Masterpiece.
I’ll definitely be continuing this series. It’s unlike anything I’ve read previously. I’m most excited for book 2 Visions of Heat since it was recommended on a booktok video I saved over a year ago....more

It was ridiculously sweet and gave good tension between the two.
