We’re talking a single dad, cowboy, likes to wear cowboy hats and backwards hats, he’s from Texas, has the cutest four-year-old boy I think I’ve ever read. He’s also a dog person so that’s a whole lotta extra points in my book but he’s also straight as straight can be or so he thinks so. Until his nanny gives him a two day notice and he’s stuck without somebody to take care of his son while he works long days on his family’s ranch. His girlfriend Violet’s, I’m going to leave out my feelings about her for you to discover on your own, brother needs a job so she comes up with his brilliant plan that he could become Finn’s new nanny. Ash moved away to go to college, small town Texas life wasn’t really for him so he decided to go into the city. He got a jb out of college at a preschool. He’s great with kids so he’s perfect for this job as a nanny and it doesn’t hurt that he’s very attractive, has some piercings and is very lovable. He remembers the Moore family from when he lived in Wolf Creek in high school, so he vaguely knows of Finn’s reputation. He also learns quickly that it’s really bad to be attracted to your 1.boss and for 2. your sister‘s boyfriend while you’re living in the same house as him taking care of his son. I devoured this book in two days, which is a record now if you’ve been keeping track of my reading in the last two years, it has turned to crap so no offense to the Copper Lake boys, loved them, but the Moore boys have surpassed them for me. This book has all the things! It’s got a great bi awakening, some really great spicy scenes, a cute adorable little boy. I just I love a series that surrounds a family, with each book following a different member of the family and this one started off so strong for the series and I can’t wait to see whose book is next. Highly recommend my friends who love them some Cowboys add this to your TBR ...more

Jackson Darling- RANCHER -not cowboy don’t call him a cowboy, even if he’s on a horse, with a cowboy hat on, corralling cows, he’s NOT . A . COWBOY. Comes off as this gruff, stone faced, man of few words, hard working, NOT cowboy. He doesn't let anyone see his heart of gold. Well that is until sunshiny golden retriever Ash comes limping into town in Edna, his trusty 2007 Honda Civic. And boy does Jackson melt like butter for Ash and it's the sweetest thing. Amongst their love story we get to meet the rest of the Darling Family and we are in for a ride with this series, between the meddling brothers and parents it’s going to be a fun one! This is a classic Emmy story, easy to read, fast paced and will make you swoon. I’m really looking forward to Colt’s story next!

I had been warned, by several book friends, but nothing prepared my heart for saying goodbye to the Bennett pack. ✨CarterCarterCarter oh boy, you ripped my heart out in so many ways and I love you for it.There’s so much more to you than you let people see. You are brave, kind and fiercely protective of those you love. But you have a softer, caring, tender side that you only allow to be seen by the people who are worthy of it. Unbenounced to you, Gavin was more than worthy. ✨Gavin.Timberwolf. Shadow. You are a Bennett if I’ve seen one. You’re snarky, patient, awkward, strong, possessive and brave. I love every piece of it. ✨The push and pull between these two was electric, I was living for their back & forth and it was so well earned when they pulled their heads out of their a$$e$. This one lived up to its title, this was a love story but also one of brothers. I loveeee the Bennett boys connection. It had me swooning so hard. I got to see the entire pack and my favorites from Green Creek. After 4 books and 2 thousand plus pages, I feel like I’m part of the pack. ( Team mother f**king human) I feel the change in POV to Carter was integral for the story and how the ending transpired. I think it packed a harder punch coming from one of the Bennett boys. This one has definitely solidified its spot as one of my favorite series of all time....more

I knew once I finished chapter one that this one was going to hurt my heart, but like only in that unique way that a really great book can. Where do II knew once I finished chapter one that this one was going to hurt my heart, but like only in that unique way that a really great book can. Where do I even start with Sammy and Will, they are a couple that just worms their way into your heart. You're rooting for them, even as your hearts breaking while you read their journey to get there. This story spans decades, you meet them when they are cute little guys on bikes and then again as the universe brings them back together as adults. If second chances aren’t typically your thing, I implore you to give this one a try, it might just change your perspective on this trope.
Sammy and Will are quite the opposite, Will dresses more in the preppy style but don’t let that fool you he’s got a heart of gold. Sammy has the skater boy image and puts on this tough exterior due to the life he’s grown up in and what he’s had to do to survive, the only one who’s ever taken the time to actually see him, is Will. Sammy has some exceptional growth throughout this book, he goes from a punka$$ kid mad at the world for the sh*tty hand he’s been dealt to an adult who’s found himself and made peace with his past. You finally see that big heart that only Will could see, he learned to channel his anger, and to let his defenses down. Will’s time away also changed him, life hadn’t been all the way kind to him, but that was for the best, it brings him back to where he needed to be, to reconnect with the people he long ago left behind, it takes him a little bit longer to have the kind of growth that Sammy does but he gets their and their hard fought HEA is so worth the emotional journey this book takes you on.
This book is the first in a new series by Melody, I loved Jason as a side character and can’t wait to see his story and where she takes the rest of this series! This book does have some triggers so check that out before you jump in so you know what to expect.

We first saw some tension between the two in Elijah’s book and I knew there story was going to be good. Liam comes from money, his family is in the top 1 % but his rank in the military was all his hard work and dedication. Spencer grew up dirt poor with a terrible home life and feels him and Liam are from two different world and nothing between them would ever work so they settle for friendship. When Spencer ends up in a losing situation will he accept Liam’s help as a friend and not a charity case?
This book has so many elements if you are triggered by abuse or drug use, children in bad situations then beware going into this one. You see where Spencer comes from and what he’s fighting so hard to obtain. You see that Liam isn’t just a stereotypical rich boy using his parents money. I love the small snippets Reese puts in her books foreshadowing what’s to come for other characters. Since the beginning I’ve been really interested about what’s going on between between Zane who’s suppose to be straight and Isaac who’s not. I’m reading these in the order of which they were written so I’m trying to not to skip ahead but I’m enjoying seeing the small sides of these characters leading up to their books. ...more

The one Lash has been trying to find on his leave of absence with Phoenix. In book four we briefly met Wolf, a military friend of Fear’s who’s been looking non-stop for Caleb. Well in this book you find out why. The first meeting between Caleb (17) and Wolf (34) had me concerned but not because of the age gap ( I love an age gap when it’s done just like this!) but because Caleb had already been through so much in his young life and I just felt he wasn’t emotionally or mature enough to peruse something with Wolf, despite book/school wise he was off the charts. He just makes you want to pick him up and take care of him but the growth and maturity that happens while he’s captured makes you just fall in love with his character. ...more

I read Task Force Ambra first so there were things I was already aware of from those books going into this series.
