the SOLE reason why this series is so unbearable to me is this trio: Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, Rowan Whitethorn, Aedion Ashryver, and unfortunately now Lysandra has also joined the cause.
I. JUST. CAN'T. STAND. THEM.
the mary sue trope absolutely grates on my nerves. ohh Aelin is so perfect, she's so beautiful, she's so kind, she's so selfless, she's so brave, she's such a warrior, she's so smart, how Aelin can do nothing wrong ever in her life OH AELIN THIS AELIN THAT- SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP.
in words of nenia: Everyone is obsessed with the heroine and won't shut up about her, whether they hate her or want to be her or just want her. I got really tired of hearing how Queen Special specialed her specials in order to proceed on her special quest to special to the land of Special to special the lost special.
the Aelin Galathynius dickriding is actually insane. or shall i say pussy riding? given how every man and their dad wants to fuck her and can't seem to get enough of her.
no actually i want y'all to name a single man (or woman) who isn't entranced by our oh-so-brave-and-beautiful queen of terrasen. let me give you a list-
1. Prequel- Sam, Illias, Arobynn 2. Book 1- Dorian, Chaol, Reese 3. Book 2- Chaol, Dorian 4. Book 3- Rowan 5. Book 4- Rowan, Chaol, Aedion, Arobynn 6. Book 5- Rowan, and now Fenrys has joined the gang as SJM emphasized heavily how Fenrys found Aelin interesting and wanted to train her himself rather than Rowan.
and i'm yet to list the women who are enchanted by her. Lysandra has no existence or motive in life besides being Aelin's lap dog. what was such a beautiful friendship in the previous book, has been forged into this pathetic, submissive leashed relationship.
sarah j mass couldn't stomach giving anyone— except her lovely Aelin— even an ounce of personality or uniqueness, because how can anyone DARE overshadow Aelin in any aspect of this series ...more
dull, lacking, boring and too cheesy for my liking. it was not hitting the way it was supposed to hit, yk the typical "the liz tomforde effect", it wadull, lacking, boring and too cheesy for my liking. it was not hitting the way it was supposed to hit, yk the typical "the liz tomforde effect", it was scarce. the right move is the only book in this series that has me by a chokehold.
this was not a bad book by any means, but i was bored and uninterested most of the time, and no one is more saddened than me by this rating :(

(future me, read all 1 star reviews for soothing my hater heart)
god i just need one GOOD second chance romance. is it too much to ask?
books like these make me realise how white people have it so easy. they had a fight for the first time in 8 years and he dumped her. she didn't like being a neurosurgeon? she quit her job in a snap and joined pottery. it's funny how the biggest, most miserable moment in their life is having fights with their friends or their parents simply arguing. y'all wouldn't survive a single day in my household or my country.
yeah, this bitch quit her residency of neurosurgery to live with her man in Montana and make pottery. POTTERY. those loans ...more

the perfect romance book doesn't exist- now it does.
this book is closest to perfection i can ever find in a romance book. i don't think i can point out a single flaw in this book even if i look for it with a magnifying glass.
lives were changed. souls were healed. tears were shed.
The Right Move is an epitome example of how a love story doesn't need to end in tragedies or have dramas to be epic and beautiful. it can be as simple as someone making a coffee for you. it can be as quiet as someone watering the plants for you. it can be as subtle as the person accepting the way you are, without trying to mould you to fit in societies expectations. "Sometimes, the quietest love is the loudest."
