This has to be, by far, the best sequel to an epic fantasy series that I've ever read in my life. Ever. Emphasis on the epic fantasy, because that's really what this book is. Jay Kristoff has done what no other author in this genre can do for me, and for that, he deserves hell. Well, I loved this. Loved this world, loved these characters, loved the damn dragons, all of it was just fire. (Although, it didn't feel like Fourth Wing...like it felt rushed, felt like the publishers were pushing bingeable content out there)
Nonetheless, I was so invested in this story, so invested in the lives of these characters and the world that is being spun around, and I can't wait for the next ones!
Also the length of this book if Violet and Xaddy just talked their shit out would be a solid 65 pages......more
