This completely delivered! If Carter was a golden retriever, his tail would be non stop wagging around Sophia.
He was a total simp, down bad for her. This completely delivered! If Carter was a golden retriever, his tail would be non stop wagging around Sophia.
He was a total simp, down bad for her. I absolutely loved it. She deserves that and more.
The drama in her life was sooooo much between her ex, mother, brother, and ex’s fiancé, her job, how she managed to be a functioning woman and parent - I applaud her immensely.
Carter is a cutie, completely obsessed with his girl. Not as crazy as his older brothers, but the man still got what he wanted
Again; nothing remarkable just short and sweet mafia.
Slightly better than the first book in the series.
I liked the (hesitant to say) FMC’s disa2.5!

I enjoyed this. Alec is such a little button. I wanted to give him a hug, and keep him in a little burrito blanket to take with me everywhere. Athletic burnout (and just regular burnout) was so real with him. I think he got used to making people laugh and happy, and forgot about himself for a bit.
Alec has a wonderful family and such supportive brothers. ...more

I loved Henrik so so much. He was immediately at ease and comfortable with Mal as his escort/companion. Mal was immediately accommodating which Is bare minimum but Henrik didn’t have that before with this previous escorts.
They adapted to each other so quickly and became quick friends to becoming more.
I have such a soft spot for age gap MM romance where the older MC has a chronic illness or disability. While he’s stubborn about it, Henrik has a wonderful community and support system for his blindness. He has a specific way he needs things in order to live life comfortable and Mal just so quickly melted into that. ...more

That being said. It was a low angst and light hearted boss/employee age gap in the mountains romance. Cutesy and fun

After meeting Gray in the first book with Victor, so so happy he gets his HEA.
Age gap, and total opposites, **spoiler alert** Absolutely loved this.
After meeting Gray in the first book with Victor, so so happy he gets his HEA.
Age gap, and total opposites, Gray and Jonah make the perfect family. Jonah was very scatter brained at times, and would blab a lot when he felt uncomfortable or awkward, he was charming and breathed life and excitement into Gray’s world of plans and spreadsheets.
Their sexy first encounter on a flight, to city boy gray moving to middle of nowhere cornfield town to be with Jonah. Love that development for him.
Gray loved Jonah so quietly and beautifully. How he figured out Jonah was dyslexic, and accommodating his stump in small subtle ways that didn’t demean or diminish, just quietly support. He knows he’s still capable but he’s able to just be leaned on. ...more

I liked the anonymous hook up, then surprise of being student/professor.
The book started with an FYI that there’s previous books in this universe that would possibly benefit but I ignored. I got everything that was needed in the relationships with this one.
The sex was good, and I enjoyed all of the spicy sneaking around.
I didn’t feel the love and the buildup of the relationship. It was just hot passion and forbidden moments. I would have liked more on the characters and all that, not just sneaking moments and spicy hookups.
When Hayden meets Tyler’s parents after graduation, Hayden goes off with Tyler’s dad for a talk and they come back besties after the dad’s hesitation of the relationship. We didn’t see that conversation at all? Which felt lazy.
It was fine, passed the time and I enjoyed the characters so I likely will continue the series maybe but overall meh. ...more

Neither MC has time for a relationship. They both own their business (mechanic bs vet) and are super busy. They want love and companionship but it just hasn’t worked out in the past.
They meet by chance, a couple times, as their large friend group intertwined (hello four bears construction!)
What’s meant to be will be. I thought they were very cute together. Steele is very possessive without being over bearing. Porter can do his own thing, as long as they bang it out first to ensure he remembers him the whole time. (As if porter could forget) ...more

I loved both MC’s so much, the absolute definition of grumpy sunshine.
Grumpy Griff didn’t realize how lonely and starved for affection he was until Ledger kind of bopped his way over into his life. Ledger brought colour and smiles to Griff’s plain world.
They were so sweet, and both tried to “play it cool” and hold back but ledger understood griff in ways not many could. ...more

It was sweet to see Dean’s POV toward his son Ben, and have this be along the same timeline has his book.
Some of the language felt odd. (As a straight woman I feel unsure about commenting) maybe for some it’s ok and makes sense, but Dean and Avery both identify as men. During spicy time, dean’s dirty talk mentions Avery’s tits and pussy. Heat of the moment? Maybe. Avery is more feminine and dresses in women’s clothing, but it felt odd to use that language toward him. (Not a complaint per say but just something I questioned - Avery was 100% fine with it in the book but you get my point) ...more

I’ve been looking forward to Ben’s story for quite some time and it exceeded expectations.
Both of Ben’s love interests were his dad’s best friend, and they all work together.
He was seeing each of them separately, and then when all 3 finally got together it was fireworks. Ben is suuuuuch a sex slut and we love that for him. He was needy and Cash and Ford worked damn hard to keep their man satisfied. ...more
