It’s beyond sexy, suspenseful, mysterious, partly predictable, angsty, but above all it’s a love story and about making peace with one’s past. Yet author stayed true to plot by not making everything perfect. The ending is satisfactory, but I would welcome a bonus epilogue further into their future.

As for ending… after some startling developments we saw the hints of unraveling… leading us to book 3, Untitled where everything should be explained.

Alarm (stand-alone) is corporate project manager Chloe Ellison, Clo’s story, told entirely from her POV. It opens up to her mundane, cautious, lonely and rather OCD existence being frustrated with her boss and reflecting over her non-existent dating life. After a night-out with friends she is shocked to wake up in a stranger’s bed, a very tattooed and wickedly handsome stranger’s bed I might add.
Aiden Hunter claims to work in sales and is just visiting. He rescued an intoxicated Chloe after she passed out. He did not have his way with her comatose body. Once that is sorted out, neither can deny that there is an attraction. On a whim Aiden invites Chloe to fly back to Florida with him and visit for a week.
Even though the “alarm” is going off in Chloe’s head she decides to go out on a limb and take him up on his offer. The story goes on to follow their budding romance during the visit and beyond as Aiden pushes and coaches Chloe to live a little both inside and outside the bedroom.
Set against the backdrop of “who is Aiden Hunter?” and “what is he hiding?” it quickly becomes clear that these polar opposites have much more in common and Chloe isn’t the only one needing lessons in living…

Alarm offers a little of everything; romance, self-reflection and growth, steamy sex scenes, humorous situations, adventures and the unfolding of a mystery. Story takes Aiden and Chloe on a roller-coaster of events and emotions only to arrive at a well-deserved sweet yet somewhat rushed ending. I’d welcome an extended epilogue from Aiden’s POV!
It’s a message of hope and new beginnings! A feel-good read with two lost souls helping each other find their way home!

It was great catching up with Dominic Knight too. The story ended on a high with everything coming full circle including an epilogue, but I am happy to report that there will be an EXTENDED epilogue in a book one of a sequel series about two side characters, Webster and Gina.

However this will likely put him in danger being torn between his loyalty to his boss, Nick, the team and task and the connection and attraction he feels towards Juliana.
What works in Nick Palcini favor is indeed his ruthlessness and determination to have Julianna and any cost and whoever stands in his way may God be with them…. If nothing else he would make for an excellent anti-hero.
Blyss is the unfolding of a mystery. It offers a little of everything; intrigue, deceit, mystery, villains, triangle, sexual tension, smut with hints of much more to come. It’s a well-written debut, which reads a good pace, but at times it was a little too “wordy”. Story ends with a worrisome cliffty be continued in, book 2, Blyssful Lies .
Interesting plot concept with potential! Two compelling and ruthless heroes! Sexual tension, danger and intrigue overload! An excellent debut by J.C. Cliff!

There are a couple of reason for book title with which will be revealed by the ending! My favorite was the first part and the young Elec. Overall I enjoyed their journey, but most I loved where it left them!

In Social Media, Part 1-3 event planner and twitter queen Grace Kinsella aka @FilthyBlueBird met her twitter muse, Hollywood heartthrob Vaughn Asher aka Master while on vacation.
In the roller-coaster that followed Vaughn relentlessly pursued for Grace to be his next sub, but requiring a NDA so he could act out all his debauched desires. Vaughn Asher aka Master beyond impressed me in this installment. Eight words to describe Vaughn: Commanding, jaded, blasé, entitled, reflective, protective, unyielding, unpredictable and determined.
Grace Kinsella aka @FilthyBlueBird did not impress me as much in this installment. Yes there are mitigating circumstances so I’ll wait and see what happens with her next. Seven words to describe Grace: Unassuming, secretive, broken, strong, reflective, vulnerable and resourceful.
Status took everything to the next level and I heart Vaughn and everything he did for them. However in addition to me wishing Grace to step it up, I would have preferred Felicity to be a boy, just a more plausible adoption….
The secrets and surprises were expected so even though this installment had the biggest cliffy to date, it was something that needs to be dealt with before they can have a HEA and I sure look forward to putting it behind them sometime in part 5, Profile.
In Wildcard, Volume I-II we met British star tennis star Ryder Stevens as suffered an injury going from manwhore to bed written in mere seconds. In replying to a fan, a sickly boy in the US he encountered his feisty and witty young mother, Scarlett Calera, Scar. A long distance flirtatious friendship lead to off-the-charts sex followed by a relationship…. But everything was put to the test by secrets, lies and their pasts.
Wildcard, Volume III opens up to the aftermath of part 2’s scary ending. Ryder and Scar have sorted out their feelings and are trying to build a future. But their past is still out to haunt them; lies, deceit, dark forces, even crimes are lurking putting their commitment and future to the ultimate test!
Scarlett Calera, Scar disappointed me by continuously defaulting into lying. That far into their relationship I feel it’s counterproductive and damaging to the foundation. That said it put their relationship and commitment to the test so something good came out of it.
Wildcard, Volume III reads at a pleasant pace arriving at a wonderful ending. Up next will be a sequel series about a side character, Cally.
Overall an entertaining and feel-good read! A mixture of steam, romance, suspense and many hilarious situations throughout! Ryder carries the story with his wit, sarcasm and over-the-top personality!

The power struggle that ensues will forge cracks in Vaughn’s routine bringing about a relentless and unyielding side to his pursuit while Grace deflects. Story does not end with a cliffy per se, rather at a time when you want to keep on reading. I am very much looking forward to part 2, Like for the continuation of their story.

Debt Inheritance (book 1), is the opening of a very dark modern day tale. Fashion designer Nila Weaver, Threads, on the night of her fashion show, was introduced to a sophisticated and mysterious Jethro Hawk, Jet by her father and then sent off to dinner with him.
Except there was no dinner. Jethro had come to to collect the debt owed to his family by the Weaver family for centuries. Nila was forcefully whisked from her sheltered existence to his ancestor’s home, Hawksridge Hall, where she was to learn more about the debt and how she was to repay it…
First Debt (book 2) picks up at book 1’s ending. Nila, having been given some facts about the debt and coerced to sexual situations, is back butting head with a volatile Jethro. While Nila is anxious to learn more about her first debt repayment Jet is trying to stay detached and focused.
There is no denying that they are insanely attracted to each other. Nila justifies her lust with needing a way to manipulate Jet while he hides behind a mask of anger and hostility. With glimpses into Jethro’s past and present, it’s hinted that he is on a set course and cannot allow himself to show any weakness towards Nila.
It’s a constant power struggle which Jet wins by remaining her captor, yet Nila wins by chipping away at his frozen heart. But both are disposable pieces in a much larger, sinister game. With everyone watching can Nila stay ahead without knowing the rules and can Jet keep aloof and in charge? And more importantly when their sexual frustrations erupt how will they fight unseen forces out to destroy them?
Jethro Hawk, Jet is a product of his environment. As story unfolds we learn of an abusive upbringing and a different teenager conditioned to take over the family empire, any traces of goodness obliterated.

Nila Weaver, Threads fluctuates between vulnerable and naïve girl and a calculated and insightful vixen. I struggled to consolidate the two.
Eight words to describe Nila: Naïve, focused, impressionable, frail, spirited, feisty, confused and calculated.
First Debt is their continued journey and Nila’s slow uncovering of the truth and her pending demise. The build-up of sexual tension is intense (almost setting my Kindle on fire) and ended up delivering on steam. That said, the first half of story felt long-winded. Story ends abruptly leading right to book 3, Second Debt for the continuation of their story.
Depraved, dark and complex Jethro! Off-the-charts sexual tension and situations! Raw, rough and angry sex! Sinister plot! Spellbinding story-telling!
In Masquerade (stand-alone) we follow Billie Black, Bill. For those of you who have read the Billionaire Banker series you know her as Lana’s lesbian friend. Yes lesbian! Masquerade is a whirlwind seduction propelled by Jaron’s secrets and pragmatic behavior. It reads at a fast pace. I enjoyed their journey and am happy with where it took them. That said I’d welcome an epilogue a few years into their future.
Mysterious plot! Excellent story-telling! Off-the-charts sex scenes! Captivating hero! And… glimpses of Blake Barrington!
