Book two was even more incredible than book one! This book is a continuation of book one, Kallias and Nienna’s story.
This book continues after Nienna and Kallias are caught in a compromising situation by her brother and she’s forced to return to her kingdom with him. She wants nothing more than to stay with Kallias in Radaan and live out her life with the father of the man she was promised to, but that isn’t at all how this book goes.
Nienna returns home as a ruined princess and her father and brother are set on war against Radaan for the “crimes” their king has committed against their beloved daughter and sister. Little do they know, until they do, that Nienna isn’t a victim. She is madly in love with the king and is now searching for a way to break the blood oath that binds her father, the king of Draconis, to her true love, the king of Radaan.
This book is so full of adventure that you feel like you’re in every single second of it. There’s a duel, dragons, and so much angst but it’s all worth it. This book is so well written and is so descriptive that I felt like I was on the back of the dragons as they fly deep in the clouds, I felt like I was present during the Awakening ceremony and during negotiations that would join and set both kingdoms at rest. Nienna and Kallias’ love is one of the epic variety, even though he’s old enough to be her father. Of course this book ends in another cliffhanger but if you’re a fan of forbidden love, dragon riders, age gap romance and a love that won’t give up, this book is for you! ...more

The world building is so rich and well done. The characters are phenomenal and I felt like I was walking the Ton the entire book! The men in this book are fantastic. Gentlemanly but devilish at the same time but not afraid to stand up for our Rosealie’s honor. Even though she has made it abundantly clear she isnt interested in gaining a husband. Rose is headstrong and stubborn and knows what she wants in life and she will stand for no man trying to change her mind. From the very beginning she makes her intentions clear to the brooding Viscount, the dashing sailor and the irreducible rake, but that doesn’t keep them from trying. Will they get her to change her mind though? Beautiful Things is a why choose regency romance that is so like Bridgerton you can’t stop reading. If you’re a fan of Julia Quinn or Bridgerton this is a must read. It’s steamy, witty and fun and gives you all kinds of hope for Rose and her men. It’s steamy at first then turns into some great spice but this book is slow burn at its finest. Absolutely enthralling, captivating and one that will have you sitting until it’s done. ...more

Delphine and Tyler are absolute perfection and his love and dedication to this woman is enthralling. He never not surprises me. Tyler isn’t given enough credit for his role in the Ravenhood and he proves his worth to his brothers and his woman time and time again. The emotion I felt reading this book is unmatched to everything, even One Last Rainy Day. Get your tissues and a stiff drink because you’re going to need it for this one! This one will take you through all the traumas, joys, pain and love felt by our boy from the age of 5 and it builds up to the man we all know and love. Tyler Carter Jennings. Ava and Sawyer, along with June and Ella are the absolute cutest. Their dreams and aspirations don’t align entirely but they’re not going to let that keep them from having the happily ever after they deserve. This book is perfectly paced, witty and fun and a touch sentimental too. So sweet it’ll bring tears to your eyes. Not to mention relatable for us single parents out here. I cried a couple of times and laughed far more. Ava and Sawyer are incredibly supportive of each other and the girls are besties from day one. Absolute perfection. I was sucked in from the first page. This book gives you all the small town, close family feels and makes you want to move to Hartsville! Small town romance at its finest!...more

This book is full of the struggle it takes to get past a traumatic experience. PTSD is a real thing but it’s definitely manageable. This book was awesome. Seeing Astria growing into her own was awesome. She’s not out of the woods yet but as the Omega of her pack she has plenty of support to walk the right path. All of the Alphas are epically wonderful and written so well. The story is moving, emotional and inspiring. Highly recommend this one. The only way to find out what happened to her is to get into the palace and look for The Never List. Problem is she’s from one of the lower cities and isn’t allowed to cross the boarders. This is where her bestie comes in….she’s a master forger and from a different city that’s not as low as her own. So with a couple of fancy dresses and forged invitations she’s able to get into the palace. Never ever did she think she’d actually be The Chosen. The Chosen must consent to spending one month with each of the 4 princes known as the Legends of Chaos. And anything goes until she has fulfilled the mandatory 30 days and she can choose to stay a month with each of them or reject them. Never ever did she think her number would be called. Now that it has been she is going to have to fake falling for these princes just so she can keep her life. The Legends of Chaos aren’t at all like she imagined though so pretending to fall for them won’t be hard at all, but will she still be pretending at the end of The Choosing?
This book is fun and mysterious. Full of magic and court politics, corrupt kings and 4 princes with a reputation that precedes them. It’s adventurous and spicy and has some of the sweetest moments I’ve ever read. It’s Hunger Games meets the Bachelorette with a sprinkle of Beasts of the briar. It’s fast paced and incredibly well written and has surprises and spicy fun around every corner! My top read of the year! An absolute must read!...more

Then Sifa is taken and tossed in a cage where she’s left to believe Fhord has not only abandoned her, but played her. Will he prove her wrong though? Will he save her from the one thing she can’t be saved from? This book was such a fun read. It’s sassy and witty, snarky and full of banter. I am a sucker for all things fae and this book tickled my love of fae in a great way. This book is more steamy than spicy, at least in my opinion, but the FMC is awesome. She’s got a witty mouth and a tragic past but she also has the love of a fae and it’s steamy and sweet. All I’m going to say about Rowan is don’t even get me started. I initially liked him and now I hope he suffers lol but Aspen….Aspen is everything I love in a fae king and more. He’s full of himself and he’s sassy and he would do anything for our FMC. So many twists and turns and let me tell you, the ending… I didn’t see it coming! It was brilliant and so well written. This book is kinda fast paced but for me that’s perfect. It’s gut wrenching and heartbreaking but makes you hope all the greatest hopes for Logan and River. And has a beautifully crafted HEA at the end. River has lost the most important person in her life, her father. The person she knows better than anyone else in the world. Or so she thought. Blinded by her grief she now has to face the fact that maybe her father wasn’t the man she thought he was. Her mother disappeared without a word and the only thing keeping her whole is her best friend and now him. Logan has some very dark secrets that involve the father of the one person he can’t stand to lose. Will he be forthcoming and tell her or will he risk losing her if she finds out he lied?
