Book #4 in the Vancouver Storm series and it is now, hands down, my favorite read in this series.
Dr Georgia Greene is more than meets the eye and when our "older" and broody hockey player Alexei meets her for the first time he assumes he knows everything about her, and in the worst way. When they find themselves both in a situation requiring marriage as a solution. When they come to an agreement and enter a marriage of convince they start discove3ring sides of each they didn't know exist. The banter, the spice, the hidden love languages of this man.
I cant even describe the perfection that all of it is, with the perfect balance wrapped into one steamy, tension filled story. ...more
Tropes: Small Town Marriage of Convenience Best friend's brother Age Gap Forced Proximity 'Who did this to you'
I absolutely loved Hadley & Ace. This storTropes: Small Town Marriage of Convenience Best friend's brother Age Gap Forced Proximity 'Who did this to you'
I absolutely loved Hadley & Ace. This story was such a fun read and it truly highlighted the fact that I am a Hadley STAN FOR LIFE. You want a sassy/feisty FMC read this book. Correction this entire series. Like she might be my all time favorite FMC. Victoria has a way of taking the plot and adding twists that you don't see coming, and the ending of this book was exactly that.
The tension in this one is sizzling. Like there were moments i caught myself holding me breath, then in the next chapter literal screaming at the characters.
My reason for the 4 star versus 5 was definitely not the author & story which leads me to say I will be rereading this book when the audio comes out...BUT I got this as an advance read and personally this book was spoiled for me many times over do to TT, Instagram, and even reading updates on here like weeks even before the release day, so it kind of made it almost forced for me to read if that makes sense. Understand I absolutely still 1000% recommend this book
