The things author promised in the beginning? The badass character? Revenge? Not a weak-body-syndrome MC? Yeah. That doesn't happen. She is the doormat of the doormats that likes to think she is a baddie. All talk and no show.
Also it's the whole book — all talk, no show. The writing avoids description like fire. It is overloaded with flashbacks and still manages to be a dump of info you struggle to get out of. The flow is nonexistent. The boys are at the stage where I would call them a skeleton for future writing. Their personalities are literally "he is so crazy you can't duck with him", "and the other guy is also very good at everything and very dangerous" "if other guys are dangerous it doesn't mean that this third guy isn't, he is also dangerous! Rar!" Wtf.
I was laughing my ass of when MC is getting kidnapped, and is saved by these guys She swore revenge on and instead of fearing them (like you are planing on taking them down, you must be smart for that right? You must have healthy dose of- do they know? Did they figure me out? Whats my next move? How do i fool them? Etc) naah she talks Baaack. Stupidly, mind you. And that is the only badass thing about her. Though for me talking back doesn't make you badass, it makes you stupid, but if you are smart enough to hold your tongue and think and plot—that what makes you smart and badass.

I already spoiled myself everything and I am greatly disappointed by how plottless this story is. Obviously I expected her to be someone else's child, someone big. But the fact that it is the only mystery hanging over our heads is not worth it. There is no love story, only humiliation. First book was good, the world seemed interesting and I wanted it to be peeled piece by piece until I realized that this book is about dubcon not about a rocking mystery...it had so much potential in the first chapters of book 1. No more....more
