When the author and/or editor forgets the storylines in previous books. In this installment, Harry speaks French and Scarlett thinks to herself, that she's never heard him speak a foreign language. Well that is just not true. Because in book 3 he spoke fluent Farsi to the dry cleaners and Scarlett asked him how many languages he spoke and he said six, I believe.
You have to remember your own books, right? I just don't get it. And that was a pretty specific point in the previous book. She was shocked then and asked the question. Now in this book, she's never heard him speak another language and she's shocked all over again. That makes no sense.
The only reason I'm giving it three stars is because it was really funny in a couple places. And I love a good cozy that can make me laugh....more

The book addressed some really intense issues, but there were moments of hilarity, especially between Roarke and Shayley. He's the only one of the guys who's had not experience with kids. So when he's interacting with Shayley, hilarity ensues....more
I agree with other reviewers. The narrator of the audiobook was awful. I never like saying bad thing about someone's work, but this has to be said.

The narrator sounded old and everything she said was over the top. It kept me from enjoying the storyline, which wasn't terrible, but I just couldn't get past he narration.

I agree with my girl, Christy, with her rating. Though I do believe that Zack and Luke redeemed themselves. I loved the hilarious moments at 3.5 Stars
I agree with my girl, Christy, with her rating. Though I do believe that Zack and Luke redeemed themselves. I loved the hilarious moments at the beginning and wished they were interspersed into the rest of the story more. it's like they started then ended and nothing was funny after the first few chapters.
I am looking forward to reading another by this author....more
3.5 Stars. I didn't love it as much as No Romeo, mostly because the other book had more funny parts interspersed throughout the book. But I still like3.5 Stars. I love how he immediately looks beyond the surface to see how beautiful she really is. I love that their first encounter is with drunk Sara. She's scary and funny all at the same time. She's patient when people are mean or rude to her, but she can take down someone when she's had enough. I love Sara's relationship with her two best friends Angelina and Miki. I love how Merrac and his Pack are protective of the girls and especially Sara when the Magnus Pack shows up.
This was so much fun to read. There were moments I couldn't continue because I was laughing so hard, my eyes were closed with tears and my stomach ached from laughing.
I love how Shelly Laurenston writes her females and I love the relationships with their mates. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this and the Pride series....more

My only criticism is that the authors didn't give Lydia an ending. What happened to her? But that's not enough to not give it 5 stars cause I loved ever moment of it.

The idea of a very young single woman raising her very young half sisters. Raising them with the help of her father and grandfather. I loved the story of her being friends with an eccentric old man and trying to solve his death. My only criticism was how she nor the police figured who was the main suspect earlier.
(view spoiler)[I mean... Come on. The lawyer, Glen, bought a sports car out of nowhere, when everyone knew he had been in debt. Then he randomly tells them there's no real will for a man who knew he was dying and then was selling a property TJ knew he would never have sold. I just think he could have been the top suspect right away and very easily. (hide spoiler)].
I love how there was a mystery, tied up in a puzzle, which solved it all. I really like how everything tied together. There were cute and funny moment, tied with moments that made me cry. ...more

By that I mean, she wrote that Marion and her husband were married for eleven years when they separated (ten years ago). But there was no custody issue because their child was an adult? How does that happen in eleven years? Unless the divorce became final after seven years, or their child was born before the marriage, there is no way the child was an adult.
Then Charlie tells Rowan that she moved from the island when she was a teen (and in previous books she said she was sixteen) and lived in Seattle for fifteen years, that would make her thirty-one years of age. But she and Zoe keep talking about not being in their thirties yet.
In every book, on every television show, in every movie, how do people not know someone is in their back seat. I have a light that comes on every time my car door is open. There is no way anyone would be able to hide in my back seat....more
