That is until the sudden scratching sounds outside their tent and feeling something hard and slithering moving on the ground beneath their sleeping bags. What began as a night of fun is quickly turning into their worst nightmare especially when no-one answers their screams for help!
This was such a wonderfully, special, horror book geared for middle grade young children that had a little bit of everything. I found this story very appropriate and scary for kids yet so much fun. I only wish these types of books were around when I was that young since this was definitely a really good horror book. Being an adult I can honestly say that I enjoyed this story even though it was written for middle grade children. There was so much hokey fun and hijinks along with scares and a monster plus some great, gory entertainment. I just love the author Jeff Strand and this was another well-written horror book that I would highly recommend to any parent to buy for their kids! I know if they enjoy fun, scary stories they will thank you over and over for this one.
