Lindsay Buroker is one of the best fantasy novelists writing today. Since 2015 I have read 29 of her novels, making her novels the most I have read by one author, surpassing Piers Anthony. My favorite series is the Emperor's Edge which is the first she published and the first I read. Based on my reading of Dragon Gate, the Kingdoms at War series could become my new favorite.
While Buroker has written and published more than 60 novels, Dragon Gate takes her storytelling to a whole new level. This series could become her best ever, on par with Tolkien.
I highly recommend this novel to everyone who loves fantasy, dragons, magic and strong characters.
