Chance is defensive football player, nick named Monster of the Midwest, he has earned the name on and lately off the field as well. He spends too many nights out at clubs, which ends up with him in trouble of photographed in a bad light. One such time earned him community service and the weekend before he starts he goes to a club meets a girl and takes her home for the night. She leaves before he wakes, he is intent to find her again. He does when he shows up to the non-profit, his boss for the time is the girl from the other night. Lacey tries to keep him at arms length, but there is more to Chance than first meets the eye. This a hot book with a HEA, my first read by the author but will not be my last.
