Maybe I'm being harsh with 3 stars. I liked it enough that I already started the second book in this series. I probably would have given in 5 stars if I would have read it as a teenager. But as a 34 year old I cringe thinking of a teenager reading this and thinking it's what "love" is like. Tessa and Hardin have a very toxic, dramatic and mentally abusive relationship. But I guess I can relate- Tessa and Hardins relationship is like every relationship I had in my teens and early 20s. Yikes. I don't hate the sex scenes but I also don't love them. This is like the Equate Generic form of a Colleen Hoover book(lol I mean that in a nice way).
