it was amazing
bookshelves: 2022, murder-mystery

Another good mystery from J.D. Robb. Eve is investigating the death of a catholic priest, Father Miguel Flores from cyanide poisoning in the middle of a funeral. However, his autopsy shows that he is an imposter, so who is he, why would someone want him dead and where is the real Father Flores? And does the second death of a religious leader from cyanide in the middle of a service mean there is a serial killer at work or is this death unrelated? As you can imagine Eve, Peabody and the team at NYPSD have their hands full with this investigation.

This one seemed a bit more complicated and drawn out than usual, but was still plenty of fun with lots of repartee between Eve and Roarke and most of our favourite characters getting in on the action.
