Ross has sat the bench for almost his whole contract with the Bitsberg Knights football team and is not sure if it will be renewed, it is almost the end of the season. It is the final game of the season and the star quarterback is hurt will not be able play for a while, the backup is put in and it is not him. They win the game and go to the playoffs, instead of celebrating with his team he goes to the diner he frequents. There he sees Shelby who is working at her aunts diner until her bar results come. He is attracted to her and offers he tickets to the playoff game to see her again. Shelby knows nothing about football but Ross is sexy and charming she decides to go. She actually enjoys the game and is excited to see Ross again.
The characters have such chemistry which all leads to some steamy scenes. There are times when you just want to hug Ross, he has been such a loner during his life. You see him opening up with Shelby and becoming a leader to his team, you want to cheer for him.
