The book contains twelve short stories, all punctuated by notes about the origin of these works as well as various things mentioned therein. Like every other work from Rollins, these were also gripping and mostly enjoyable. Only the "City of Screams" and "Blood Brothers" seemed stale and odd works. But the others, especially the Sigma Stories and those involving Tucker & Kane were immensely enjoyable.
