With Danger Under the Mistletoe, Alexa Verde continues the exciting series, Secrets of Rios Azules. The plot had twists and turns with a major twist towards the end. The mystery of the villain and his reasons remained a mystery to me until it played out. Rachel and Sebastian are likable and sympathetic characters as they had both lost loved ones very suddenly. Grandma, Sebastian's grandmother, is who we all need for a neighbor or a relative. She provides that warm, loving welcoming place that Rachel desires. I enjoyed reading about how Rachel's and Sebastian's faiths grow in the story. They do get their HEA.
I recommend this book to clean romantic suspense readers and to Christian romantic suspense readers.
I received a complimentary copy and am sharing my opinion of this well-written book.
