This is once again a very dark and twisted tale of the serpents (Mason, Silas and Knox) and their captive Nim. Nim is living in their rooms and solely under their thumb and if she doesn’t comply well punishment isn’t always private… but she’s trying not to break as she’s pushed to her limit. The chemistry is off the charts and the steam is hawt. This book most definitely concentrated more on the relationships and development of the characters than moving things forward. This is rated slightly less than the first as I feel it needs to move forward more there’s still sooo many questions that need answers. I really love the dark depravity of this series but the suspense is driving me crazy I need to know more!
