Jen is just coming out of the bank when she literally runs into the man who hurt so much, Drew Laramie. It has been ten years since he left for school and never came back. She has built a life for herself in their hometown. She just would like to avoid him, until her friend suggests she caters an event he is having at the ranch.

Drew hates that he hurt Jen, but he has spent the past ten years running a family secret that tore him apart. He wants to be a relationship with Jen, will she let him? Will she understand why left in the first place?

This is an emotional story with all the scabs coming off on both individual. There is a lot of pain under the surface mostly on Drew's part that has not been addressed or examined. Both say some harsh things to the other.
