Lincoln's Last Trial is a fascinating short history of the last murder trial where Abe Lincoln served on the defense team. Dan Abrams and David Fisher provide insight into murder trials of the 19th century as well as Lincoln's talent as a lawyer. While much has been written about the Presidency of Lincoln, this book provides a look at the man before he became President through the lens of a murder trial. I recommend the book to all Abe Lincoln fans and to people who are interested in murder trials.
