Love on the Brain

This book was incredibly disappointing and did not live up to my expectations at all. Mind you, I gave the love hypothesis 5 stars last year, and I was really looking forward to this book, unfortunately it let me down in every aspect. My main complaint about this book is that it’s way too similar to the love hypothesis. This was one of my most anticipated reads of this year and it was a disappointment. Also the smut scenes in this book were badly written and cringe worthy. Anyways, I definitely didn’t hate this book but I really didn’t care for it and I don’t think that I would read it again. This book made me realize that I have a love hate relationship with her writing. I think Ali Hazelwood needs to figure out if she really wants to write, because she’s been writing the same exact thing over and over again. I know this is a long and pretty harsh review but it’s my honest thoughts. (2 stars ⭐️)

"I’m enjoying this book but I have to say that the love hypothesis is way better and I really hope that in the future, the author doesn’t rely on the same tropes. I’d like to see her switch it up a bit."

"Yeah, this is definitely going to be a 3 star read. I was liking it at first but now it’s just okay. I feel like it’s way too similar to the love hypothesis. I’m a bit disappointed"
