If there's one thing that I absolutely loathe in stories, it's the lengthy paragraphs of narration/inner monologues/telling. This book suffered majorly from that. I don't remember this author's previous books being like this??
The narration paragraphs were so long that I forgot what was being said between two bouts of dialogues. I had to go back a couple of pages on average to refer back to what was going on.
And the near obsession wrt their size difference was completely over the top and overdone. Plus the number of coincidences were a tad too many, with the last one (view spoiler) had me rolling my eyes so hard.
The storyline in itself was good. It did keep me reading until the end. Sadly, it was also able to cause much frustration.
