The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music

As if I wasn’t already a huge Dave Grohl fan. This book is aptly titled The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music because that is exactly what you get. The audiobook, narrated by Dave himself, was fantastic, and felt like he was just telling the listener a bunch of stories woven together, some of which led to a different tangent which felt very authentic. His love of music, his mom, and his family is evident throughout. Knowing that this book was written before Taylor Hawkins' death, the parts about him made me choke up a bit. The bond they shared was one of long-lost brothers and soul mates for sure. Easy 5 stars.

Wonderful review, Nancy. I've heard so many good things about this, but it's definitely sadder in light of Taylor Hawkins' death. 💛 I'm glad you enjoyed it, nonetheless!
