Wow. This book was so underwhelming. I love this series, because not one book in it is written by the same author.

But this one, especially coming from the previous book Forget me not bombshell — from the beautiful minds of Caroline Peckham & Susan Valenti before I read this — was a major major let down. Like this author wasn’t even in the same ball park as the other authors I’ve read on this series.

I get insta love. When it’s done right - it’s beautiful. But I’m sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out when the moment came where they started falling for each other? All of sudden it was filled with “I love yous” and I’m over here screaming WHAT WAS THE REASON

And man don’t get me started on all the pointless details this author included in her writing. But somehow missed all the details SHE SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED.

There was no redemption to the main characters. Tbh I’m probably going to forget everything about them in the next two books I’m going to read. There was no redeeming qualities, even the main heroine was childish and felt like there was nothing special about any of them.

Disappointed because I was really looking forward to Gabriel’s baby sisters story. Major let down.
