My main impression - Upgrade was written for future movie adaptation instead of satisfying the reader.

Jenna ❤ ❀ ❤ I think a whole lot of books are written for movies/tv series now rather than to be lived in and experienced by readers.

Laura Tenfingers I felt exactly this when I read Dark Matter. He seems immensely popular but I doubt I'll read anything more by him. I'll happily watch the movie though!

Dennis Barros It’s already been done in the movie Limitless and the movie Upgrade that released in 2018.

Pseudo Nymph It's going to be such a shitty movie if it gets optioned. Just another forgettable action movie. Blake Crouch writers good books, but this wasn't a book it was just an elaborate screenplay.

Kelly I absolutely felt that this would have made a better film than book. Perhaps this is because I felt like so much was left out?

Barb I enjoyed the book anyway but I kept saying to myself throughout, "he definitely envisions this as a movie."
