Maud was a town witch, a healer and herbalist, until a necromancer came to her village and things went terrible wrong. Now a lich, all Maud wants is to be left alone with her cat and her sewing. But people just won’t leave her alone! (I’m sure plenty of us can relate to that.)

It’s like D&D from the bad guy’s perspective. Just how does a villain get made? With a lot of thread and dead bodies along the way, apparently.
This book was obviously violent, and after a while repetitive. But Maud was a good “bad guy” and I wanted to see how her story would turn out.
