it was amazing
bookshelves: adult-fiction, contemporary-romance, romcom

An incredible hidden gem!
How can I feel such a pull of attraction and want to strangle him at the same time?
LOVED this one . . .

Porter made for a fabulous hero. He's a former Olympic snowboarder dealing with the death of his beloved sister.
In place of the joy I used to feel catching air on a run, the elation I felt exploring unfamiliar places, and the euphoria of connecting with someone, I'm feeling guilt and grief.
And I couldn't get enough of his attraction to Madison, who's the interior designer working on his new house.
There is something endlessly sexy about her competence. It's equally attractive how clueless she is about her appeal.
And I loved Madison as well. Her flaws and vulnerabilities were portrayed to perfection, as was her confusion over her feelings for Porter.
Something about Porter makes me want to slap him and kiss him at the same time. It's not a healthy situation. Obviously.
If you're into . . .
✔ rom-com's
✔ enemies to lovers
✔ wonderful angst
✔ deep characters
✔ a pain in the ass dog😂
. . . you've found your next read!
