Riley travels to Starfall, a small town in Michigan where she discovers she has a very witchy heritage. It's her job to help ghosts move on and to protect the many powerful ghosts who live in her new home.

This book is a return to form for Molly Harper. Her Jane Jameson series was brilliant and many of her books tried to build on that success by treading the same path. And for the most part it worked but her last few books have felt a little tired, like she was just checking boxes.

Not so here. It's a departure from what worked in the past and it very much works in the now. I've seen a little criticism in reviews because it's not like those other books. Not from me. I loved this book.
