This is a debut? It’s a strong one.
Yes, it has some coincidences and seemingly too easy things in this Hollywood romance, but it’s so nice and comfortable I don’t mind. I just want to be wrapped up in this story.
I never thought I would say that about a book that has a kid as a very prominent secondary character. This particular kid character is crafted beautifully, I appreciate how the author portrays this kid on the autism spectrum. It also shines a light on one of the mains possibly being in the spectrum.
Just a warm and fuzzy story, perfect reading in this very rainy spring day.
