Keenly absorbed every word in this deeply engaging story about a person at a crucial juncture in their life. Strong sense of a formidable talent from every passage; wanted it to be longer to see the worldview fleshed out even further (in novella form it is expressed with impressive concision) but this is a vital read in which every word matters.
