Wow I did not see any of that coming, I'm gonna need some time to form coherent words.

Jude is so badass, I love how she always has a little network of people she could trust to look out for her. I wasn't sure how to feel about Taryn for a good portion of the book. Part of me resented her for what she did, whilst a tiny part of me understands her. I get that she was trying to survive as best she could, but why did she have to do it at Jude expense?

Jude and Cardan were such a will they/ won't they couple. And even though I loved Jude's scheming and strategies, I just wanted her to stop for a moment and give into her feelings.

Their relationship development and chemistry was to live for and so obvioussss it kind of killed me inside every time they denied it.
The writing style was so addictive and the world building so good, it's definitely just the right amount, no info dumps here. Just when I thought the deception and scheming couldn't get any higher it did.

'Yes my sweet villain, my darling God, I will be as sober as a stone carving, just as soon as I can'. And with that he kisses me on the mouth. *Screams in fangirl* I shall leave you with this.
