You can either choose to live in the sun or stay in the shade... it's your decision.
Trent has been in love with his best friend's older sister his whole life. When he goes off to serve his country, Danika is the only person he dreams about. Life though had other plans... ones where he returns home to deliver to the love of his life the news of her brother's brutal death. Can they move on from this loss? Both suffer the consequences... they are each eaten away by guilt... but they deal with it in different measures. Where Trent relives his buddy's death over and over again having to go through PTSD, Danika's inclination is to bolt so as not to deal with the ugly things of the world... selfishly believing she is protecting herself from such wounds. A beautiful yet heart breaking love story which needs time to form a base... one sturdy enough to hold all the emotions these two troubled souls feel. They need to process the pain and learn to deal with it head-on... without hiding their heads in the sand. 5 Passionate Stars for "SOL"a story of lament which teaches us that forgiveness is a self-healing, self-liberating and self- empowering gift you give yourself.
